redxxrdr
So I pulled my fender when I had my new front tire mounted. Took the time to clean and wax it while out. I noticed a small vertical rub mark on the left rear. When I reinstalled it, I noticed that the fender touches the brake line going from the line splitter on top down to the left caliper. These lines have never been off, and they look correct compared to the manual. The lines actually push the rear of the fender towards the right. Has anyone noticed this? Or did I get one that's a little different?
FiXXation
My 2003 was that way. I had to loosen the brake line block and reposition it a little to keep the line from pushing the fender into the tire after mounting the first set of Pilot Roads, as they were just a bit wider than the OEM Dunlops. Crew Dawg Dave
I had the same problem and the fender would actual rub the tire and cause a vibration (duh) when I was hard on the brakes. reposition brake line, good to go!!
