Maverick1100
Hey guys, I see that there is a lot of people here with very good technical information. I know motor vehicle but i have zero mechanical background. I was wondering what could be done to an '01 'Bird's engine to get more power?? I already have a Two Brother Full system and I know that there's the turbo option but i was looking more in the line of Big bore kits and port polishing. What else could be done? Thanks in advance. CxBXR
There was a guy on the "other" forum that was pushing 200hp with a stroked crank & big bore, that was no NOS or turbo it was naturally aspirated (NA).

Hey CxBxR, where did you get there rear tire and swingarm kit? Sorry that is not my bike, but I did chat with the owner & I believe he said it was an extended Busa swingarm which was modified to fit the Blackbird frame. runner
Gearing would be the most direct way of increasing the acceleration...with a loss of top speed. Ie. lower your gearing for quicker ersponse...
