lois
My 98 dodge 1 ton's heater fan is giving me trouble. It will only work on high, nothing on med or low. Haven't had a chance to dig into it yet, but was wondering, anybody had this problem. If so, was it the fan motor itself or was it the 3 position fan switch on the dash.....your thoughts
Bandit XX
It is the switch not the motor. The switch has internal resistors to regulate power to the motor.

Northman
It's the blower motor resistor, not the switch. At least that's the most common problem. Keep in mind that a blower motor can burn out a resistor, so you might want to replace both.
