When I had my Triumph Sprint I stopped using the factory recommended Mobile 1 10W50 "Racing Oil" (available from only Triumph dealerships) because it was too damned expensive, more than $50 / gal. I switched to the MX4T oil recommended by Mobil's website for use on high-performance motorcycles. I used to buy it at Auto Zone for about $7.00 / qt., but that's been 2 years ago, and I don't honestly know if Auto Zone still carries the MX4T. I really couldn't tell any difference between the Mobil 1 MX4T and the Mobil 1 Racing Oil other than the fact that MX4T was ALOT less expensive than the"Racing Oil".
