gt_mule
I've had my new bird for almost a month, and twice I have upshifted at speed only to have it miss the next gear. The last time was shifting from 5th to 6th. I upshifted, let the clutch out and the revs dropped to idle. Clutched again, gave it a another tap up and it engaged. Am I not being forceful enough or do I have a tranny issue? Anyone else experience this?
airborneXX
You may not be letting the shifter drop down all the way from your previous upshift.
LongHaul
Mine will do what you said if I don't pull up the lever all the way up during the previous gear change.
gt_mule
Thanks for the replies; I'm pretty sure I have no reason to worry.
TechnoGecko
You may not be letting the shifter drop down all the way from your previous upshift. Yep, you are holding the shifter up with your foot. Adjust the way you foot is sitting on the peg and/or get smaller boots!
