vanbo
I have a 2002 Blacbird that is continually blowing the headlight fuse. The battery and charging levels are fine. Does anyone know if there is something causing this fuse to blow?

brianmacza
Check the rating on the fuse? It might be shorting to earth?
davesXX01
Check BOTH plugs on the back of each bulb. Remove and clean the contacts and reinstall and make sure they are seated all the way! Dave

Dave Precisely. If you've put high output bulbs in the headlight, you should know that others have had this problem. Also, if you've removed the switchgear, you may have pinched a wire on reassembly. Older bikes with a lot more wear than yours can get shorts in the controls, but I wouldn't suspect that being your problem.
