There are many different part numbers for both complete fork units and components, but the essential physical dimensions/measurements are the same. The fender, brakes, axles all bolt on the same and tube diameters/lengths are the same. The differences are the design of the valving, and the cosmetic finish of the fork lowers. From a "parts" perspective, a complete left or right fork assembly from any year XX is a functional replacement for any other year XX.
