KiwiCBR
80k to get to work...dont use miles down here in New Zealand. This is now day 3 and bike has been behaving itself. Seems strange to loosen and retighten a bolt would fix the problem. I still have it in the back of my mind that it is something else but will have to wait and see if it plays up again. bar10dah
80k to get to work...dont use miles down here in New Zealand. Oooh! I was thinking 80 thousand... Seems strange to loosen and retighten a bolt would fix the problem. Not at all. Loose grounds can wreak all kinds of havoc. Glad to hear you're up and running. KiwiCBR
Thought it was too good to be true...bike started cutting out again So this weekends mission is to bypass the Kill switch (Never use it anyway) Will also do the mod to the wiring loom suggested here http://www.cbr1100xxforums.org/forum/viewt...pic.php?t=27323 This is really taking the enjoyment out of riding the Bird
speedygeezer
.....................................and the latest news is??
KiwiCBR
Ok, Checked out the wiring loom in the weekend. There was some corrision in the conector and some of the wires were starting to go black. Cut the connector off and hard wired the cables as per the previous post. That was 4 days ago and the bird has behaved ever since What was also a plesant suprise was the bird has more power now. I am guessing because it is getting a stronger connection now more juice is flowing through the motor hence more power. Although i am 99% sure that this has fixed the problem i will not be 100% until another week has passed with out any problems. Thanks a lot for every ones input and suggestions on fixing this problem.
