testrider
I just bought a pair of SMX Plus. The toe sliders are supposed to be replaceable. How are they removed? Are these any metal sliders available? Thanks.
Redbird
Pull the back of the slider outward and then the front will come right out. It's not easy, even seems like you might break the damn thing when you're doing it, but it'll come off. I'm not aware of any metal ones, but I haven't looked. testrider
How it took for the SMX boots to break in? I found that they are very stiff and shifting is a pain...
2equis
My SMX's broke in at the ankle, the rest of the boot should still stay stiff. They are (race boots) alot different than than sport touring boots. My sport touring boots broke in like slippers.
