airborneXX
I know this belongs in the garage, but I'm looking for a quick answer. In the service manual it says to replace the caliper mounting bolts with new each time they are removed. They are called ALOC bolts. Does anyone here do this? Also mine had red loc tite on them is this correct or should I use the blue loc tite. I'm getting ready to put it all back together shortly and saw this in the manual. Is this just C-Y-A on honda's part? Thanks in advance for the input 8)

Hobicus
Hell I don't even have ANY locktite. Tourqe to spec. and it's not going anywhere. Lost one, didn't use a torque wrench or loctite, was in a hurry  : http://www.cbr1100xxforums.org/forum/viewt...opic.php?t=9743 The result: http://www.cbr1100xxforums.org/forum/viewt...pic.php?t=10235 In short: Torque to spec AND use Loctite. Trust me on this!!!
