Freshen up the front end after Ohlins install

I have a 99XX with 20K

I just installed an ohlins shock on the bike... (from now on...every new bike I buy will get one installed from 0 miles)... can't say enough about how nice it is especially if you ride two up..

sooooo now I need to freshen up the front. ideally, I'd like to send the shocks to traxxion and let them do the trick.. but that would cost about $600. (and feel if I'm going to do racetech for $250.. might as well spend the extra coin for the real deal)

the front has never been serviced.

thoughts on changing the shock oil and diff weight?

thanks.

Thoughts on shock oil? Change the shit out... just my thought. At 20K it's toast.

As for the weight. It depends on how much you liked the way it rides now. If it's good go with the stock 5W. If you ass weighs more than @150 lbs you may want to go up in viscocity a bit to maybe 10W

Stock is 10w. I wouldn't go up from there, the thing is overdamped to begin with.

Going down to 5w is a popular choice, all depends on your preferences, as Steve said.
