SoILXX Posted June 10, 2005 Share Posted June 10, 2005 I have an '01 XX that when I turn on the key the headlight comes on but when I hit the starter it goes off . It doesn't do this everytime but it comes back on when it wants, so it's kind of hard to ride home from work at night. I called the local dealer and he said the bulbs was loose. I think thats cazy. kg4fku Posted June 10, 2005 Share Posted June 10, 2005 yep, I'd say your starter button is sticking. take it apart and clean it with contact cleaner. you can get it at almost any raio shck. pick up some dielectric gease while your there too.
