Moriartii
I know the manual says use new bolts for the caliper mounting bolts, well I am going to use Loctite instead. Opinions on what I should use; the blue or the super duper red? thank you Kinley

matey_peeps
nononono loctite. use anti sieze. believe me, anything subject to heat cycles like brake caliper bolts will need no help staying put.
Northman
nononono loctite. Â use anti sieze. Â believe me, anything subject to heat cycles like brake caliper bolts will need no help staying put. I disagree completely. If it were a car, then yes, but a bike just isn't subject to the dirt & rust that a car is, so siezure is rarely a problem. Go with the Loctite as suggested. Moriartii
Went with the blue loctite as recommended. They got a new "lipstick" tube out that works slicker'n shit, less mess.

Guest rockmeupto125
But how does it look? Does it wipe off easily? And is it glossy, or just a "sheen?"
Moriartii
Wipes of easily and is pretty glossy..........I have found that is lasts for at least 18 hours and that is a pretty hectic day. Smart ass!!!!!!!!!!!
Hobicus
Yea, though... Loctite them... you don't want them to fall out.. Been there, done that... http://cbr.geckobox.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=97431 http://cbr.geckobox.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10235
TAPnTXs
In the Great Words Of Eric Cartman, " That Would not be Kewllll" Brake bolts falling out. I use alot of lock-tite in my model Helicopters. Lock-tite has a new formula that you rarely see it is "243" its blue but oil resistant. Unlike the 242, We use the 243 in the Model Heli's because of all the oil in the fuel.
