got my brace on wed, it will go on this weekend :grin:

probably with some blue loc-tite.

Aw Gee... Y'all shamed me into going out and putting some blue loctite on 'em... I guess better safe than sorry. Maybe later today I can get a quick test ride in... Hmmm, If I bribe my daughter into a LATER afternoon movie....

Loctite isn't necessary, but not a bad idea if you're worried. It gives you a little extra insurance.

I wouldn't go with red, as it may be too much for such small bolts in aluminum. You'll run the risk of difficult disassembly one day, even to the point of pulling threads, or breaking bolts.

I joined in the purchase and although I haven't received mine yet I'm reading about possible interference with the LBS system. I'm a big guy on a '03 and if there is any chance the Brace will hit the LBS res if the forks fully compress, then I'd be reluctant to install it.

Can those of you who have installed it advise me of your experience in this regard?
