XX
loc-tite or no loc-tite on install bolts (not necessarily on fork shields)
XXTi
Have you received the S-Brace already? I haven't got mine yet, but I ordered the black unit. Maybe it takes a little longer.
MileHi
The bolts have never backed out on the Bandit's SuperBrace,. So, I don't see it happening on the 'Bird's.
Involute
I can't see how a drop of the "Removable Strength" stuff can hurt. I'll put some on mine unless someone here comes up with a good reason not to.
xrated
I received mine today (Fri.). I'm going to use the red locktite. I rather be safe than sorry.

MileHi
Aw Gee... Y'all shamed me into going out and putting some blue loctite on 'em... I guess better safe than sorry. Maybe later today I can get a quick test ride in... Hmmm, If I bribe my daughter into a LATER afternoon movie....
Northman
Loctite isn't necessary, but not a bad idea if you're worried. It gives you a little extra insurance. I wouldn't go with red, as it may be too much for such small bolts in aluminum. You'll run the risk of difficult disassembly one day, even to the point of pulling threads, or breaking bolts. xrated
Thanks Chris, I'll "borrow" some form work.

BubbaZ
I joined in the purchase and although I haven't received mine yet I'm reading about possible interference with the LBS system. I'm a big guy on a '03 and if there is any chance the Brace will hit the LBS res if the forks fully compress, then I'd be reluctant to install it. Can those of you who have installed it advise me of your experience in this regard?

bar10dah
Neither have I. But, I'm sure it's on its way. If Warchild supports the company, I doubt they'd screw us.
