Ronnie
How slack are there to work with, I raised the bars 3/4" and now the throttle cable seem pretty tight when turned all the way left.
Northman
The cables will be tight with the bars raised, and at full lock, but I've had mine like that for over 2 seasons with no ill effect. You can unclip the cables from the frame just in front of the tank to loosen up a little more if you're concerned, or lower the clip-ons slightly. XXTi
I have VFR bars and have them raised on the fork tubes about 3/4". My stock throttle cables work just fine.
Pete in PA
I've got Heli's and they are raised about 3/4 inch. Get the throttle cables out from under the frame hold down tab at the front of the tank and let them ride where they want.
