Dion
I get this wear pattern on my fronts ever since I started using radials. I know alot of people get flat down the middle front and rear. My rears tend to keep their profile and just wear but my fronts get three sided. I've seen it on Dunlops, Avons and now Michelins. I didn't have the ST long enough after I put the Metzlers on to see but the picture is of the tire from the Bird's previous owner so it's not just me. If you look at the tire across from my finger you can see one of the edges where two of the flats meet. This edge can make for some interesting sphincture oscilations in a slow speed turn when the tire rolls off it to the flat edge. My question.. Is this the nature of the beast? Is it to much pressure? I generally run at spec or a little below Am I a lard ass? or is it riding style? Any thoughts of wisdom?
Mykl
Perhaps not enough tire pressure?
Northman
You're a lardass. It's a product of not enough corners. The tires wear in the center, and not enough on the edges, squaring them off, and giving you those damn corners that feel like shit in a moderate lean. Dion
You're a lardass........ That's a given  But it's not just the center that's flat, it the center and each side Kinda like this _/ and not like this (_) the ruler is on the side of the tire
