  5. talked to brian today and the one he has on ebay has a scratch,,,,,but he has others,,,,,has a set of 2000 silver rims front and back,,,wants 175 for the rear and it is perfect,,did not ask about the front,,has another rear black for 125....I think it is also perfect. so if you want his phone number pm me and he knows you are going to call.

  9. I bet it is in the rear proportion valve that feeds front fluid to the back brakes that you are feeling try stoping with just the front and then just the rear and then both at the same time equalyand see if it changes the shudder.
  10. have you tried different tire pressures start at the top and drop a lb at a time
  11. i removed mine after many problems
  12. different plug the ones i am talking about are wraped up in tape and one is located by the battery in the wire loom the other is up by the engine under the tank you have to cut the tape to get to them and they are green turminators and used to diag. the wires at the factory. cause problems all the time with corresion. cut the wire tape away at the bulging place in the wiring and take the cover off and wire brush and clean. may be too much if you are not too mechanical. will have to remove a lot of the body work and will need to seal back up do a search for terminal connector in the garage http://www.cbr1100xxforums.org/forum/viewt...=asc&highlight= thanks juxxtin

  14. probably the wire loom diagonistic plugs that need to be cleaned
  15. brake cleaner,,,,might be something on the rotor that will not burn off. had that happen with antifreeze leak that sprayed on the rotor and could not get it off till i changed the pads and brake cleaned the rotors. just a thought. hope it helps.

    as i ride mine in the sand hills in over 100 deg heat i have some history with heating the bird...... and getting air through the radiator with the engine off will bring the temp down fast,,,,one min. but air flow in while riding does'nt do much till about 30 mph. and going into the air flow helps a bunch compaired to with the wind. also the body work off helps a bunch at low speeds but not going to help youse guys unless you like nakid

    did you leave the key on so the fan would run when you had the motor off????
  19. i have another fan i am going to mount to blow into the radiator also
  20. i have mounted a switch and ran to ground and to the temp sensor wire on the radiator so i can turn the fan on all the time when i run in the sand hills on hot days and while i am working with lean mixtures on the fuel. will kick coolant out if i dont. but i run 100 percent antifreeze ,,,,no water so your results will varieeeey
