A couple questions:
1-Will these fit on my '98 XX (assuming I get the garden hose washer?)
2-So you just order 2 of these for the kit? So is the high beam and the low beam the same bulb?

Nice XX but unfortunately I paid 3100 for my '98 with 14K mi w/zero dings and never down, totally stock. You're better off keeping it as a backup bike or something.

I have those same Scorpions on my '98. They sound awesome without being annoyingly loud.
Scorpions also never need repacking. A major plus!

I used a micro torch on each one and they came out like butter...
Makes the Connie14 feel just like the XX, with more torque and shaft drive..
Can't wait to start mine again...friggin Kawasaki!!!!
Did it seriously make a noticeable difference for you removing them?
I rode an '06 ZX-14 with flies removed. Total beast power down low (and everywhere else) with the flies removed. I'm sure the C14 would yield similar results.

That's the same question I posed to my wife. She said absolutely not. She thinks that I can get into an accident as easily on back roads as on major roads. Not true, but I can't convince her otherwise. In another life I used to race amateur motocross, and have done lap time at Beaver Valley Raceway in Pittsburgh on other sportbikes, but she doesn't believe me concerning traffic. I think the real reason is that we recently bought a used Audi TT for her, so she is using my close calls as an excuse to bargain for the garage space. She is letting me drive the TT so I can't complain too much. It is just not fair, but I need to keep peace in the family.
Fair enough I guess if you're fine with the decision. I've just never been exposed to a wife/g/f that had any say in my riding. Been with the same girl since I started riding in '03. She doesn't ride with me anymore and it's not really her thing. But if she told me my bikes must go.....her opinion would be vetoed immediately without further discussion. She knows I enjoy my bikes and my commute and stays out of my business. I can't imagine giving up riding due to a spouse/girlfriend's demands.

Perhaps a bit faster, but not as comfy. And no stereo :-)
Owned a GL1800, test rode a C14. I'd say quite a bit faster than the Wing, especially the top end. Wing is definitely more comfortable though.

You should put it on Ebay. Will probably fetch more than your asking price. Either way......what a deal. If I was in the market for one, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
