  1. post-82-1313292263.jpg

I can't find any model #s on the luggage but here's a pic, never actually got them on the bike. Didn't see them on the kneedragers link.

Josh, I do have throttle bodies but Joe is buying the engine complete and I was going to ship him everything that I have. Guess I should edit this thread to show engine sold.

  2. Engine has aprox 30k miles on it. Ran great but had tranny trouble, so its got some new gears in the trans and was never installed back in the bike. Its been sitting like that for maybe 4 years now so I'd rather part it out than try to sell it as a complete.

So the engine is sitting on my workbench ready to take apart. I really don't know how much to ask for anything so let me know what you need and we'll try to work out a price & shipping. The covers and stuff like that are in great shape. New plugs (installed but never ran). Throttle bodies. Airbox. I can take a pic of any part so you know what you're getting.

Also have a 3pc nylon Chase Harper luggage set that I bought used years ago from here and never used them, so I need to get rid of them too. I'll try to post pixx sometime soon. Black in color and in great shape, zippers all work. $60+ shipping.

Edited to say: Chase Harper luggage not Nelson Rigg.

  3. This is the engine out of my 99 1100xx. Its got just shy of 30k miles on it. The engine was pulled out of the bike to replace some gears in the trans, the gears were replaced and the engine reassembled but never installed back in the bike. Bike was sold to a board member as a rolling chassis. Its also got new plugs, welded shut pair covers and some misc gaskets. I'll try to post up some pics later if I can find them.

If someones interested in a complete engine I'd like to get $500 + shipping. I will provide a shipping crate and a pickup point at a business with forklift.

When I call this a complete engine I mean its all together and all covers are installed. It does not come with any wiring, injectors, air box or any of the external stuff.

If no one wants a complete I'll part it out and will hopefully start that in a week or so.

    Darryl.

  4. Sorry, no pictures of this but we all know what they look like. Stock exhaust removed from the bike by the po shortly after he bought it so he could fit on a full system. Header reinstalled by me so I could fit carbon duals.

The cans are like new, the header has some miles on it but is in great shape.

I know it isnt a very hot item so its hard to price out. Will separate so let me know if you need all or part of it and we can talk price & shipping. Very heavy so shipping could get ugly.

Also have 2bros alum can from full system. Not in that great of shape. Never wrecked but has scratches from boots, road debris, etc. Needs packed. No price in mind on this either, if its something you might have to have let me know.

2bros carbon slip-ons. Good shape but not perfect, one (left one I think) has some scratches from rubbing the swingarm while 2up. Will edit in a pic of these when I get one. $200 shipped to the lower 48.

    Thanks.

  5. Here we have a used Corbin GF&L seat with backrest for sale.

    post-82-1239492141.jpg

The seat has red piping which was colored black with a marker for a temporary fix, unless you like the red. The fix doesnt last all that long but is cheap to do. There are a couple of small tears that I'll try to post below, one on the right bottom and 2 in the back that were filled in with the as seen on tv vinyl repair. The main part of the seat is in great shape and the tears arent visible when on the bike.

The backrest was purchased separately and has black piping. You can see the finish of the seat and backrest in the pic below. It also has a storage pocket on back. This is in great shape with no tears at all.

I'm thinking $325 for both shipped to the lower 48.

I have lots more stuff to get rid of and will post up as time permits.

    Thanks.

  6. I just havent had time to finish this thing and now we're thinking of moving and I dont want to take it with and try to keep all the parts together till I can find the time to work on it. Figured I'd toss it out there and see if anyone is interested.

Heres the project. The bike has 30ish thousand miles on it, never wrecked. The tranny was acting up, some of you may remember a thread last october or so about it. Had some worn gear dogs. So I pulled the engine, replaced 3 gears and a fork in the trans. Removed the pair and replaced plugs while they were easy to get at. Got the engine back together but never got it back in the bike. I have all the parts to do it, just not the time (or ambition anymore).

So if someone is looking for a good project this is it.

I'd sell the bike only for $2500 or with all of my accessories for $3000.

If you buy the bike only you will get the stock bars and exhaust. If the bike sells by itself I'll put the other stuff up for sale at that time.

    List of accessories:

Corbin gunfighter & Lady. Had red piping but I colored it black.

    New in box cheetah screen.

Used stock screen, bike has a cheetah on it now.

    Used Givi screen.

    Helibars with throttlemeister.

2-bros carbon slip ons, decent shape, a few scratches, sound great.

2-bros full system, alum can that isnt in that great of shape, would need repacked and the inside tackwelded.

    Used pc-2.

    Carbon fiber rear hugger.

I'm sure I have some more stuff that I will throw in if I find it.

  7. BTW. My dad used to have those chrome deer whistles on his bike. I believe they are still in the ditch along with his broken windscreen where he hit (you guessed it) a DEER! Luckily he only got a couple of scrapes and was able to ride the bike home.

We were on the way to a local bike rally on a route where at least a hundred Harleys had already been down. Two does were bedded down along the side of the road, and when we got close they jumped up and ran right in front of us. I think whistles are only good if the deer are already standing in the middle of the road, which is preferable to having them hide in the grass.

The noise from the harleys deafened the deer so your whistles had no effect.

  8. The book was a great idea if you're not familiar with wiring. Its really not as hard as most people think, you're a smart guy you'll pick it up quick enough. Most recepticles (probably all) are labeled for the black & white wires too.

  9. Congrats in the great results. I too started the low carb thing about a month ago, I'm up 2hp and my pants fit better. Just got an elliptical machine so that should speed things up a bit. I'd like to be up another 4hp then get off of the low carb and just watch my diet & exercise. Keep up the good work.
