Not the prettiest but very functional . Saddle bags alone, trunk alone or both together. And only ugly when I really need them.

I sell alot of the Clear lenses and most people buy them when they order the lenses to "complete the look" as you said. Clear Alternatives has all the different bulbs in chrome. John01XX

John, I might be interested in these springs. Does rider weight matter, meaning are there different versions available? If so, I'd need to find out if yours are right for someone that weighs in at 150 soaking wet (i.e. me...). I'll PM, too. Like most everything new it made a very noticable difference when it was installed but since I was replacing the fork tubes and got a deal I couldn't pass up from Jaws when I was staying with him I had to give his setup a try since the Britt's swear by it over there. I am all of 150 lbs with clothes on myself. Weight is not a factor according to HyperPro on the progressivees but then we are about the same anyway. John

I am getting ready to pull out my Hyperpro front Progressive springs and replace them with the new set-up I got from Jaws this year at the Bash. Made in Germany by the company who also makes the Race tech springs. Also I have on order from Honda a pair of new Chrome upper tubes since my have gotten rusty and replacing the seals at the same time. Anyone interested in a pair of 1 year old Hyperpro Full Progressive springs for the Bird let me know and as soon as Honda sends me the new tubes they will be available.

Peepboys carries the Titanium bulbs by ....uh can't remember the brand... oh yea ...it is APC I think They have the chrome colored bulbs that light up amber or Red or Blue or Purple !! They are available in 1156 and 1157

My issue was not about your "experiences" with the Akro but rather the rediculous statement that "The Importer in California I bought it from later said I was the first person to buy one of them and apoligized for the inconvenience." And you actually would believe such a statement much less repeat it on a forum of Blackbird riders ?? Maybe it is an age thing or maybe you just don't know better but it was not an acccurate thing to post which in my book is pure BS at least coming from this Cali importer. If you thought there was any truth to what he told you then you have to be very young or very nieve or both. Beondwacko and I are riding over Saturday afternoon, getting together with a group of Bird owners from the forum for a group ride most all day Sunday, then return home Sunday night. We will be taking "Your" road west out of WPB and going right by Morosso on our way to Clearwater. See the FUXXT thread in the Group Rides section of the forum

My Akro was installed on my 2001 in 2001 and the decision to buy the Akro was based on results and existing custom maps made for other Birds that had the Akro installed. You got the first ??? Pull your head out of your ass man. There are and have been many Akro systems installed on Birds in Europe many years before you ever had a Bird, if you really do have a Bird at All ??

I would like to see that thread, my bet is that it never existed. Erion is still making exhaust's and doing well. Akro systems fit just fine except for the loss of the centerstand. The Dyno chart was identical is a great statement also between a European company and a US company. Two Brothers ....duh !! How about both brothers last name is Erion ? You really ought to show up next Sunday morning in clearwater for a ride with a group of Blackbird owners that know what they are talking about. Learn something useful and have some fun at the same time. After all at 200 mph you could be there in less than a hour !!!!
