  2. Thats the one !!! Adam and I both have that one and it works great . Black Anodized PMR Thanks Byrdman
  3. +1 I ran Sweep at FUXXT and also at NEXXT last year on Roads. No problems at all. Stuck great. Juxxtin can verify following me around said corner when an accident was spotted mid corner !! Will be back at NEXXT with Roads again this year as well. I put to many miles on for anything other than roads.
  4. I did not get a PM ? I picked up 10 CCT's yesterday and have two left. If you want one email me at John@BikeBits.us or a PM here with your zip code for pricing. I assume you are in the states in which case total cost would be $34.50 delivered Priority Mail. I will have another 10 coming, in 10 days to 2 weeks. John
  5. I totally agree with Mike, although I think we're a minority here in that respect. It all depends on your circumstances. I rarely get to leave my high beam on for extended lengths of time, so only the low beam is HID. It does just fine and seems to light up the sides really well to look for critters. The XX headlight assy it seams was almost designed with HID in mind. No one, and I mean no one as far as I know had any kind of problem with Andy for that group buy, and he sold us one hell of a lot of sets. He was very fast, all the hardware was there and it works like a charm. marty +1 Noone had a problem and I ordered over 15 sets from him and just ordered another set last night for Scott's bike to be installed before he arrives here to go to NEXXT. 6000K recommended by Andy is $203.00 delivered FedEx International Express in 3-5 days depending on customs. It will be marked as a commercial sample or a warrenty replacement to avoid any added customs fee's.
  6. Hey TeXX, I have one very similar except mine bolts right into the brake or clutch resevoir bracket. No need to add another device to the handlebars. I can get you pictures tonight or maybe adam (beondwacko) can post a pic since he just added one to his Bird. John
  7. I have a like new pair for Sale !! You can measure them yourself
  8. I think he is a pretty good fisherman !
  9. +1 I love my Akro full 4-2-1 but no centerstand anymore.
  10. Adam and I just picked up a 2000 Bird for a member in California that he is picking up next month to take to NEXXT. It just so happens to have the cat Eye lights mounted inside the tail vents. It surprised me how nice they look. There would be a visibility problem from the side but seem to work well from the rear. Very clean look Unfortunately I am not able to get pictures due to the Bird being stored about 50 miles from me until the new owner picks it up on the 6th of September when we ride together up to NEXXT. 11. Refer to the last couple of posts on page 1 in the thread below: My experience with dealing with Helvet For those to consider if about to order from Helvet or from his about to be started website.
  12. I don't know anything about the NEP so I will just leave it at : Buy a Vista Cruise from Me !!!! $25.00 delivered
  13. New OEM Double Green Dot CCT = $34.50 delivered Priority Mail when you are ready
  14. Here is a pick of my Bird with the old Mototech first version undertail and the Pyramid hugger John01XX
  15. Don't believe everything you read. Good sales pitch on their home page but pure BS to the educated Detail person. I can assure you that no professional Detailers will be using the product. It is directed specifically to the uneducated retail buyer who doesn't know any better. Only buy products that are sold as a commercial detailing product and not just a retail product only. As with any product used for polishing or waxing, nothing is made that will clean, shine and or protect that is scratch free. Being scratch free is determined by the applicator and not the product. For best scratch free application always use micro-fiber towels for "Wax On - Wax Off" Micro-fiber and the product of your choice will give you good results with virtually no chance of scratching the surface.

    WD-40

Do Not.....I repeat, Do Not lube with WD40 wipe chain with rag with WD40 on rag only to clean the outside of the links Only !
  17. Front Bird signals require an 8mm wrench and a phillips screwdriver. No popping it out but easy 5 minute job
  18. I have never had a sticky issue with the Roads on the front or rear. yhey are the best combo that I have found with good stick and decent milage. Powers are stickier, yes but I can't afford to change tires every 3000 on the rear and 5-6000 on the front. I need to be able to get double those miles out of my tires. My Bird has been on the track a couple times and never had a tire slip, but then I don't push real hard out of the corners while on the edge of the tires either. I have on rare occasions gotten rid of any and all chicken strips with no loss of traction on the Pilot Roads. I have been through over 6 sets of the roads and really like the feel and longivity
  19. I get about 12-14,000 on a Pilot road front and 5-6,000 on a Pilot power I am back to Roads myself and will probably not ever try anything else,
  20. Normal I run in the 220's with city traffic with stoplights and 90 degree temps
  21. Shovelstrokeed has a nice adjustable set on his Bird. I am not sure where they came from but he will chime in here soon I am sure or you can send him a PM. John01XX
  22. True, the clutch basket makes a lot of noise rattling around when it's cold, but this noise should dissapear when you pull in the clutch. To me, RodeRash is describing a worn cam chain tensioner pretty accurately..... the "bag-o-marbles" discription is tell-tale.... $34.50 delivered to replace it
  23. Now have the CCT's back in stock for anyone looking to pick one up. $34.50 shipped in the US $37.00 shipped to Canada $39.00 shipped elsewhere in the world USPS goes Priority John01XX
  24. I would double (Dot) check that info. There are only 2 part numbers ever listed for the CCT (lifter Set) from Honda. The old style listed for the 97-2001 and the newer double green dot listed for the 2001 - 2006. They Are interchangable. Maybe something to do with your canuck models but not the US spec Birds
  25. yep Double Green Dot came out in 2001 I believe. I would keep your old one as a spare if it was quiet.
