Just added 208's for the first time in many moons...I'll report back as to how long they last. My Pilots went for about 5500 miles...

Gearing would be the most direct way of increasing the acceleration...with a loss of top speed.
Ie. lower your gearing for quicker ersponse...

Zero Gravity on 2 different birds. I may give the MRA a try...it seems pretty good...

If it's only noted in 6th gear thats a real concern. You normally would be moving at a decent clip, so wind noise would likely over-ride any pinging. Agree with above, don't lug it and try premium if it continues.

The question is...was it worth the effort?
Would you do it differently if you were going to make the swap again?

Is this the same basic concept as the GenMar's?
Except they raise the bars another 3/4"?
I am seriously considering the Genmar's at the very least...rides over 100 mile are a pain in the wrist/neck.

Dirt bike trick here....use BABY POWDER/talcom powder in the suspect area (just cover the area in a light coating)...used it for years and it works for me...

Not a newbie here...lost my old PWD (don't ask ...).
Anyways, 2nd bird, '98 model. After EVERY fillup, the fuel gauge swings wildly for 25-35 miles. Then it works perfectly until the next fillup.
It's been doing this for a couple of months.
Help....how do I fix this problem?
thanks
