  1. "The only reason I'm selling is because 99% of my riding anymore is with the wife on the back with me and I would like to get something with a little less lean on my old arms" Yessir, old arms really suck. Is that the best you can do? How about, "momma just doesn't like that hard, skinny seat anymore". NBL Matt - another one bites the dust. :icon_cry:
  2. I've got well over 70K miles on 009's and never a complaint. 4-8K (depending on right wrist) on the rears and twice that on the fronts. Why pay more?

  10. Bought new several years ago, used it a bit, and then put it on the shelf. Features X, K, SuperWide Ka and Safety Warning System radar capability, front and rear laser detection. Works fine, but I don't need it any more cause I never go more than 5 over. $200 shipped. Paypal.
  11. I've used a skill saw with a narrow hacksaw blade and it works fine. Just take it slow. Draw a line where you want to cut the screen, place masking tape on either side of that line to prevent scratching, and go for it. Afterwards, a die-grinder with 150 grit paper will sand the edges smooth.
  12. This car was bought by my wife's father in 1967. When he died in 1991, she got it and used it as a daily driver. In 2001 it was repainted and, shortly after, (uh huh) some gal ran a stop sign and clipped the Caddy on the left rear quarter behind the wheel. Wife then retired and the car sat in our garage until the space was needed for other things and it was moved outside where it still sits.
  13. I don't know about the throttle cables, but I'm guessing longer ones are needed since mine are noticeably longer than stock cables. I bought this bike with the Vario bars installed and swapped them out for stock clipons. These bars use the stock internal weights and retainer rings, and the stock bar ends are held on with stock screws.
  14. There are two lengths of extensions - 4.5" and 3", as shown with the tape measure. Lots of variations.
  15. It measures 16.75" tall in the center of the screen.
  16. Well, I guess that depends on one's perspective. Here is what it consists of, and I have the seat also. It still has oil in the crankcase. Don't know if it runs or not. What you see is what you get. FWIW, there should be plenty of parts around since these motors were used for cart racing for some years. I don't see any frame or fork damage, and the wheels look to be straight.
  17. No title. Bought it at a garage sale 15 years ago. Motor & tranny are in boxes. 10K miles on speedo. Should be fairly simple fix if all the parts are there. Gas tank and fenders look good. I'll send you some pics if I can find them. Right now, the bike is buried under some other treasures.
