Wd-40 is "not" a chain lube!Don't tell John JJP XX this!! I think this is all he uses.
Everyone's perception of a wheelie is different! At least this one wont start a war. You are right on with it!
Don't use motor oil with "moly" if your splitting H/P hairs!Ouch, another oil thread. Here we go!!

would however, order two (2) sets - one for the std. top mount on the fairing and one set for a bottom mount - I mounted mine on the bolt located kust above the foot peg bracket
Wow never thought of that!! Have to see how that looks. I have to be honest that I did get some damage (just a few scraps) on my bike last year. But that was caused by have my Givi saddle bags on that changed the angle of the bike when she went down. Other wise there would have been nothing.

Harry is right. Not worth the money doing it yourself. If you were going to do alot of them Northern tool does sell a tire changer that is not too bad in price.

A lot of people have the Jaws sliders, including myself
I also have the mushrooms from Jaws. Went down last year at a low speed and saved my bike from quite a bit of damage. I would recommend them.

My bike came with a K&N when I bought her. How do you clean it? And I take it that there is a special oil I need to get.
