  1. Never heard of doing that before, I'll consider that for sure if nobody is interested in a trade. Thanks!

You don't need to sell them.. fix them.

Yoshi's are easy to get appart,

    and easy to make Louder...

once you remove the rear alen bolt and end cap..

then remove the front alen bolts,

and slide off the canister skin,

Then take some Duct-Tape and rap the ceramic pad as tightly as you can...

then put it all back together.

    They'll be louder.

  2. Do you have the RS-3 slip-on canisters? Are you at all interested in a Yosh RS-3 / 4-2-1 full system? I also have a dyno produced custom PC-III map for the system with a stock filter. I'm sorta just thinkin out loud here... :icon_rolleyes: I really like the dual look but I love the sound of a single can as she howls through the upper tach ranges... :icon_twisted:

Sorry I like the dual cans, but I know someone who is looking for a 4-2-1 full system, I will tell him to check here.

  3. Last year I bought new a pair of Yoshi slip ons for my bird. They are in beautiful condition, but are a little quiet for me. The burble nicely at idle, but I was looking for something with a little more oomph.

Does anyone have a louder pair of slip-ons they would like to trade? Two brothers would be my preference? Just looking for a straight trade for mutual benefit if we can work it out.

I live on the north side of Cincinnati if anyone is interested.

    Dave

  4. UPDATED: $80 shipped, please get this thing out of my garage, it's taking up useful workbench space. I should clarify that when you push the crack together it becomes a hariline and can barely be seen - kind of like my tallywhacker. A little glue and this would be a great piece!

More garage cleaning...I also have an 02 Silver Tail Piece for sale. There is a scuff from a boot on the top center that might be buffed out, and near the right forward luggage mount there is a crack around the mount. I would like $80 shipped CONUS.

  5. I installed a first gen mototek undertail. Put everything together, looks great, everything is plugged in on the relays etc by the battery, and when I turn the key on everything works including turning over, just the fuel pump isn't kicking on for some reason. The only plugs not connected are the two things in this picture, and there doesn't appear to be anywhere to plug them in! Does anyone have any ideas? Please help!!

  6. If you live in the Cincinnati/Dayton area of Ohio, Middletown cycle can order most aftermarket parts for the bird (and other bikes). What gets them an A+ is that the parts department did a price match for me from a web site. So I got the great low price from the web, and no shipping fees. Did have to pay Ohio sales tax, but that's much cheaper than paying shipping on most things. Thanks Middletown Cycle!
