  1. I need to get set up with that stuff as well. I only pay $20 to change a set and thats why I haven't gotten anything yet. This year I'll be changing alot more tires. You could always do what I did as a kid. I use to put the tire under the edge of front tire of my truck and carefully drive onto the tire to break the bead on all my old race bikes.

    Wave rotors

They are BST carbon fiber wheels. There on the RC and retail is around $3500 for the set. I picked these up for $2k used from a freind. They weigh about .25 of what the stock wheel weighs and makes a HUGE difference in handling. The only downside is..........................................................Price.

    Wave rotors

I'm sending out a front and rear rotor to get tooled tomorrow. I'll update you when I get an ETA. I'll find out the #'s and prices on a group buy deal.
  4. Not a stupid Q when your spending this kind of money, Rick. If you do alot of riding. There is alot less fatigue in your hands and fingers. They are alot more comfortable and conforming to you, when you are using the clutch and brakes. They just give a more positive feel and feedback. 8) I've been running the CRG's on my RC for a few years now. When I ride a bike with stock levers now, it just feels weird. :?
  5. Never heard that before, learn something new everyday!!! I really dont think its an issue with these levers and for any normal speeds on the street not exceeding mach 1 of course!
  6. I seriously think you've been misinformed! I have never heard of any front brake being applied due to speed or velocity of air going around the brake lever. Most all race teams use this Pazzo type of lever or a stock style lever on Road racing, Drag racing and High Speed Bonniville Salt flats bikes. My .02
  7. Sorry no pics, because no one has ever made one! See explanation in this thread. clicky
  8. Rick no ones ever made one for the XX. Before I have this guy start designing and cutting. We would need to know if there is a market or interest for them. Heres a pic of the clutch cover off my RC, It would look something like this. You could get it anodized in Black, red, blue gold or leave it silver/aluminum. It would have the XX logo engraved in it also.
  9. There are a few things that I am wondering about having and would like to know if theres any interest in from you guys. I will post some polls to see how many are interested in these items. Maybe if there is enough interest we can do group buys on them. I have never seen an anodized, engraved billet countershaft sprocket cover for the XX before. Would anyone be interested in one?

    Wave rotors

Some special type of metal that is more dense than standard rotor material. I dont know exactly what it is, he told me so much yesterday, I cant remember everything. He is cutting new wave rotors out of this stuff that will be a full floating rotor, that uses Carbon Lorraine superbike pads to bite and stop it. 8)
  12. I dont have a pic of the CRG backside but its plain with a nut to catch the allen bolt. I'll get a picture later for you.
  13. Scot the clicker is the adjuster. It moves the lever in or out about an inch or so. There are 6 positions to choose from.
  14. SWEET DALE!!! I've been wanting these type of levers for the XX the last few years.

This guy has some crazy mad skillz! Designs and fabs all kinds of stuff. 8)
  16. He just got the adapter finalized and was shipping them out today. Dont worry they are some KICKAZZ levers Dude! 8) 8) 8) 8)

    Wave rotors

I have some custom made front, full floater, prototypes being made for the RC to test for him. Were testing them next month. I'm sure I can get some standard ones for the XX made or he might possibly have them in stock. Almost any style of disk can be done from my understanding. I saw some kawasaki type petal rotors for Yamahas and 2 different style of wave rotors today. 8) 8) 8) I had this rear in hand, so I thought I would post a pic of it and ask about it. I'll ask him about fronts tomorrow.

    Wave rotors

Just curious if there is any interest in a rear wave rotors for there XX, if the price was right and what would you expect to pay? I am just seeing if theres any interest in a blinged rear rotor for the XX if it were available? This is one I picked up today for the RC.
  19. I saw first hand today, Dales (Warchilds) Pazzo levers! Mike at CTS Moto was getting ready to ship them out to Dale. Two words=Fuckin SWEET!! I went up to meet my new race team sponsor and see the shop. Mike owns CTS Moto and is a stand up guy and very sharp when it comes to bikes in general and building (one off) custom sportbikes and aftermarket parts. He has some one off customs hes working on along with a bunch of customer bikes. You can get almost any color lever, adjuster, link you want. I have the short brake and long clutch ordered for the RC and XX. Talk to Mike at CTS Moto if you have any questions or need anything aftermarket for your XX, any sportbike or sport tourer. He is a dealer for most all popular brands of aftermarket parts. He even has a custom seat guy that does some nice work, the leather he uses is as smooth as silk and comparing it to the corbin right next to this seat, the corbin doesn't compare. heres a link to another thread about them. Storing tires

+1 SCHAWEEEEEEEET! But honestly, give me an hour, I could unorganize it sooooooo fast!

    Storing tires

Josh I store all my tires on a tire rack, in my trailer, standing up. I would guess laying them down would be the proper way to store them for long periods. and just paint the grooves and letters white!

    Ohlins rebuild

I'd send it to Dan as well. He is the top guy in the states for Ohlins and Joey from Ohlins, just started working with him too.
  23. diconnect the gas line coming into the throttle body and turn the key on quickly. See if its pumping enough fuel through the line. You might be clogged up or kinked someplace else? Maybe faulty fuel pump?
