  1. James when I replace windows its sometimes hard to get an exact replacement. The original manufacture does not sell panes in most cases, unless you want to spend big bucks to have them make you one. A local window guy will be hard pressed to get the right materials/colors to get an exact match for a replacement window.

Before you had him make it you should have specified exactly that you want, a "matching" window. He may have been able to do it, he might not have!

    '

I have not been able to get an "exact match" on any window replacements....................

  2. I Love it.the things a blast.Brakes are phenomenal and i love the fuel injection.

Yeah, I feel the same about my 08 610. I agree, the stock brembo setup is awesome. Pipe it and put the lambda sensor bypass on and its a whole nother animal. The dual pipe on the 450 look HAWT too.

I'll keep my ears open for anyone in the market for a bike like this. It's an amazing 6fiddy.

  3. Eric it sounds like a kickass tard. You have all the right stuff on her. Post it up on SuperMotoJunkie or thumpertalk and it will sell faster. The majority of peeps on this board just don't appreciate the Motards for what they are, ONE HELOOVA KICKAZZ FUN RIDE.

If you can wait till spring you will pull more for it than selling it in the fall or winter....ymmv

BTW.........How do you like the 4fiddy?

  4. Know nothing about the Gen Joe but dive compressors use there own power source to run. They are not hooked up to an external power generator. They're either gas or deisel stand alone units. I've looked at some units here in VB that the military were offering for sale.

  5. Just passing this along! Get ahold of LDH at Dan Kyles shop

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We switched over to Spiegler brake lines about a year ago & I just found a WHOLE box of Galfer stainless braided brake lines for the 04-07 1000RR that I thought I had already moved...

    04-07 1000RR front lines only $70 shipped

I have rear lines for the 06-07 model only and if you want those I can do both front & rear for $100 shipped!

Also have a bunch of RC51 Galfer front lines only. Same thing $70 shipped (no rears at all

& one set of red CBR954 lines make an offer

  6. +1 on the Honda. We use the crap out of 3000si's at work and they are QUIET, reliable, and start with the turn of the key. About 12 hours on a fillup.

Kinda heavy to pick up, but if I were buying a generator, it would be that one.

That's what I have and its the last Gen you will ever buy! I put mine on wheels to roll it around easily. Super quiet, starts with a flick of the key and powers anything and everything you need in the house during outages.

Last season when a hurricane knocked power out we could hear every damn generator in the neighborhood running, except ours!

  7. Good to hear Rick. Enjoy dropping those 10ths.........

Got the MC today, too, thanks for the quick shipping (2nd day air, even). It's already mounted up and waiting to be bled. :icon_biggrin:

Cool, I thought you needed it by this weekend and the 3 day shipping would have put it there on monday, so I went ahead and shot it over 2 day instead. :icon_biggrin:

Glad you can put it to good use. Now just be phuckin careful grabbing a fingerfull of front handle, that shit's GOOOOOD! :icon_evilgrin:

    On a different note:

    I was stoked today!

We mounted our Kayaks up on the Bimmer for a trial run before we leave for Maine next week. While out on a test run I ran across a private motocrass track. I stopped and knocked on the door but no one was home. I am going back again to ask if we can ride there. I have been looking for a dirt track to teach K8 on, the pavement scares her alittle and this would be a perfect place to teach and play ride at.........

  8. I'll take a set of the Pazzo's for the XX if you've got a decent silver or black set.

All 5 levers go with the dealio so you can mix and match colors/parts if you want. I believe there is one xx clutch and one brake but I do not have a bike anymore to double check. I had the silver set on the xx when I had it. I have some other parts in addition to whats in the picture. I just need to dig them out of the toolbox.

I am leaving tomorrow morning for 5 days of diving. If you decide you want it, pp me and I'll get them out to you when I get back on tuesday. Check what shipping is to 23453 and add it to the pp.

  9. Its on there along with the washers. This is a seriously amazing brake for the front of the bike. Huge difference between stock and Brembo. Where you normally use 2-4 fingers on a stock unit. A brembo is a 1 or 2 finger approach to stopping or slowing down a bike. Simply an amazing peice of kit.

and I'll have to pass on the nekked pics of Jeff. I already have some.

  10. I'll put this up in here this week then next week it goes to CL/Ebay. I have to much good shit laying around and not being used so I may as well get rid of it, plus I need to get some steel diving tanks anyway.

Brembo w/ shorty pazzo and 2 stock levers=Add steel lines/good pads and you have 1 finger stoppies! $275

  11. The lights and the tile make a huge difference.

I kinda like the tile. I'm still in need of backsplash material. What can you tell me about it?

Todd its a limestone matted 12x12 tile from Lowes. Preatty easy to install. The time consuming part is useing tube grout to grout the backsplash. Normal grout you spread with a trowel and drag the grout out of the lines. Bad part about doing this on limestone is it fills in all the little holes and irregularities. You loose the holey, stoney look of the tile. This stuff is similar to caulk where you squeeze it into the lines using a caulking gun and use your finger to pull the exessive grout out of the line. Its very very time consuming but with limestone tile it leaves the tile in its natural state. Looks really nice when its done too.

  12. Thanks guys!

I couldn't believe the build quality of these new places. Its terrible and when you see all the mexicans building them, you can understand why. Cheap products, shoddy build quality, there is no storage at all in them. The next door nieghbor wants me to build custom shelving units for storage and another wants lights in theres. Half the residence are older with money and the other half are young first timers and all are wanting to upgrade thier homes. I have had some very good response to my work there so far.

I have a virtual gold mine with these condos. Every one of them are the same and there is about 60 to 70 of them. :icon_evilgrin::icon_biggrin:

  13. Here's a quicky I knocked out last week for some friends of ours. They purchased a new condo last september and hated the fact that the builder would not do some upgrades for them. Bad for him, good for me! :icon_biggrin:

Pantry was installed a few weeks ago, I just had time to finish off the lights, light rail on the cabinets and tile work last week while the clients were gone for 5 days. I need to touch up around the lights still............

I installed a new sink and faucet in april for them to.

  14. Hey Randy,

What is that little entertainment center type shelve unit behind the kitchen there?? Just curious.

    Kitchen looks fabulous!

    Thanks!

I made it from scratch. Birch plywood and boards. I ran all wiring through the wall behind the left side cabinet so all of the components can plug right into the appropriately labeled plugs. HDMI to TV, all speakers, TV Cable all are plug and play. The center section has indirect lighting below the black granite top which is turned on by the wall switch above the left side unit as well. It will light up the glass shelf that I will install once it comes in later this week.

  15. Thanks guys, it was a fun project. He was real easy to work with giving me free reign to build it however I wanted, he just wanted something easy to clean, irish pub colored cabs and modern looking. The biggest part of the project was getting power to and from the island through the concrete floor. That was "FUN" but worthwhile since the island was a major focal point in the kitchen.

Now onto the next kitchen remodel.................Thankfully its not as elaborate at this one. :icon_biggrin:

  16. 100 day transformation on a freinds kitchen and she turned out pretty nice I think.

I removed a wall, installed a curved drop ceiling to define the kitchen area, installed new dimmer lighting all round, mounted surround sound speakers in the ceiling, HDTV wiring in the media wall, custom built the entertainment system including a granite counter top on it and indirect lighting, tile floor on the entry, kitchen and den, new custom made cabinets for kitchen, new island w/ built in light controls and electric stove, installed a cool stainless/glass vent top, undercounter/cabinet lighting, new stainless steel appliances, granite counter and back splash and even made him some nifty large and small granite coasters with the scrap backsplash leftovers.

All thats left is the flat screen on the media wall (where the picture hangs).
