Are we getting a picture of this bike this time or what?
-
I can't beleive I skimmed all the way through this thread looking for a pic of F4 1000 and found nothing. I want my three minutes back.
-
How fast will it go?
-
Nope...it was crickets. No pictures from Waysherr or further elaboration.
Damn shame too.
-
Would be nice if I still Lived in Socal but im in hicksville Texas :*(
When did you move to Dallas?
-
Forks work better with it than with out it.
My $0.02 only.
-
I just want to know if it will pull a wheelie in third gear?
-
Bump for a nice bike!
And...
The RR has adjustable compression & rebound clickers plus a remote oil resevoir. You have to machine a spacer (basically just a 1" thick washer) for the spring to work, but other than that it's a drop in fit. I can't afford an Ohlins & this is a great mod for the budget minded.I have one of these shocks, it is like new, if someone wants to buy it.
I could be interested but want to see pics of the installed shock with 1 inch spacer for the spring to work.

Waysherr is trying to sell is Bird. In the description of farkles he mentioned that he had a 929RR shock. Being cheap as hell, this would be something I'm interested in as a quick survey of 929 shocks ebay show a price range of $40-90.
I've asked for more info but am curious if anybody else has seen such a re-fit?

Wow. Never heard of this before. Not trying to hi-jack your for sale thread. So I'll make a post in the Garage. Would love to see pics or get more info.

just curious about the 929rr shock?
Me, too.
What was involved in the install?
-
I went +1 on the front and -1 on the back. Gained about 3-5 mpg. Noticed a little less pull on acceleration. It was a good trade for me as I commute 70miles of highway per day and losing a little acceleration from the 'bird ain't a deal killer.

Wait a minute...going to Colorado? 4th Bird? Y2KXX are you the fellow in Colorado that has a garage full of birds and busas?
-
sale pending photos this weekend. to 97 exex
Odd that....well, hmmmm....I don't guess I really want to see what photos Mark is trading for a thottle meister. Or do I? No. No I don't. As long as E.Ness likes them, I guessthat is all that really matters.

Turns out to be more work than I want to fuck with. No serial cable, no instructions or maps. I'll pay shipping for slow mail UPS.
Dammit. I was watching that thread so I would know what to do with mine.
-
C/mon Mike, hurry up...OzarXX is coming up in a few short weeks......
-
uh...oh.
This doesn't look good......
What happened?
-
Please tell us your kidding.....
-
WOW. that is a sweet ass deal for some lucky .org member.
Did wario get the topbox?
-
or...or...I could mount it up side down on the rt side.
-
Is it fast?
Just look at it. Are you blind?
It looks to me to be "super-fast". Which I can not handle.
I can, however, handle "fast."
As we all know, looks can be deceiving, so I am clinging to the hope that the 929 under discussion, which appears to be "super-fast", is merely "fast."
If it is beyond "fast" I cannot consider it because of personal safety concerns.

I don't know how you expect to work in such a cramped space.
