  2. Eat some carbs! Good ones

+1 Sounds like you need another glycemic reset. Eat some good carbs for a few days and go back to phase 1 for 7-10 days. That will get you back into ketosis and burning fat again. Then go back into phase 2, eat fewer/better carbs then you did the first time around and exercise more. I would include weight training along with the cardio you are already doing.

  3. My last house in New York used to ice up BAD. To the point that the ice would melt and creep into the bay window. I sold that fucking house and moved to Arizona, my new house NEVER has that problem.

  4. Add a front fender and (I'm guessing) a mirror to that and you're getting close to $1200, plus shipping. Then there's labor to consider, whether you do it yourself or pay someone, it is a consideration.

Honestly, your best bet is to fix it yourself or be prepared to take a pretty big hit on it.

+ you almost always find stuff more broken stuff once you tear the bike down. Tweaked fairing stays, busted tabs etc..

  5. Did the quad pay for his actions (one way or other)?

Evidently the quad was staged right near where the wreck occured. By the time my friend got up and started thinking clearly and the others came back with the trailer to load up his bike (tacoed his wheel and busted a bunch of spokes on the quads A-arm) the other guy was loaded up and pulling out. A real douchebag move IMO. They have a description of the guy, his quad and his truck but it did happen in the middle of the desert so who knows.

  6. A friend of mine was out riding his new KXF450 a few weeks ago when he came around the corner and some asshole on a quad on the wrong side of the road hit him head on. He's just getting over the broken collar bone and made out to the garage for the first timetoday to find a cracked headtube. Does anyone know if a crack like this is repairable? Ron Ayers wants $1200 for a replacement frame.
