I know I've been away a long time. I can't access the shop manual and i'm waiting on the mods to let me know why, but in the meantime I need some help with the torque settings for the fork pinch bolts, the rear axle and front brake calipers. also do I need blue or red Loctite for the brake calipers. thanks for the help Dave

I've got both the black and silver one. I got them at wally world for @ 2.97.
-
Josh, why don't we just invite Mike B down to your place and we can do both our bikes at the same time.

Do I need to run a higher octane level now?
If it makes you feel any better than yes.
But no.
That's awsome, gas is high enough, I only asked because i see alot of guys running the higher octane. they must have somekind of ignition advance.

Just put a pcIII usb with a full Yosi rs-3 system. Do I need to run a higher octane level now? I can't find anything that says i have to run higher than '87 octane. I have an '03 EFI model.
Thanks for the help

Anybody know where to get the little buttons or fasteners that hold the fairings together where it isn't going to cost an arm and a leg? Ron Ayers has them for $2.51ea. I can't believe those little basters cost so much.
thanks in advance.

I have to agree that the avon's sucked big time. I'm running the pirelli diablos as well( thanks to JRA) and absolutely love them. The turn in is great no more head shake(caused by av45 avon) and they stick like crazy. I to only have @ 2000 miles on mine so don't have a clue as to how long they will last.

Where were you and your precious little manual when I was in Walmart yesterday?

My honda manual says oil drain plug is torqued to 22 lb-ft. where does this 9 lbs come from?

I always have my V46 top bag on, it rarely comes off the bike and i never have any problems. I even ran the dragon and charoholla(sp?) 2 years ago with my E-41 sides on the whole time and didn't have any effects on handling,(ask John01xx).now with all 3 bags on and fully loaded you have to play with the settings on the shock to help the front end but that's it.

Yea i used my dremel and ground the heads off smooth with the side of chain and still snapped to breaking pin
-
Awsome service, I ordered my new chain for the bike on the 10th and had it and the breaking/rivet tool on the 14th. customer service was great and their pricing couldn't be beat on the D.I.D 530 ZVM. Now the motion pro riveter wasn't very impressive as 2 of the pins to break the chain(push the pins out) broke, doesn't seam to be very strong.

No i don't ever do wheelies, and i wish it was the master link. not sure which chain it is. it's the stock chain. how can i tell which brand it is?

Thanks for the help Joe. I really appreciate it. do you have any idea why I'm blocked from accessing the shop manual on the site?
