  1. I'm 87.3% positive that they changed the internals for '99. Went from steel to aluminum on one component, IIRC. Not sure how they interchange, however. Also the valve orifices are larger and oriented differently in the 97-98 You had me at "orifices are larger"

  3. Did they have to custom make all of the pieces for your bike? I didn't see Blackbirds listed on thier website. Who actually did the installation?
  4. Are you going to start selling it by chance? Where did you get it and what did it run? I was wanting to do that also.
  5. Has anyone considered using the tail section off of an X11 to put on a Blackbird? I like the way the back of the X11 looks. It looks like all you would have to change is the passanger peg mounting location.
  6. I have them done for me (Commercially) all the time. I would not suggest you use the fiber mesh. I would dig a peramitter beam and dowel into your columns to keep it from settling. I would also use rebar mats and beam steel. A #4 bar 16" on ceter both ways should be enough. A concrete material supplier could help you engineer it. A moisture barrier would not be a bad idea either. I would say a light broom finish would be good for what you are doing. Definately go with 6". I would just hire someone if I were you.
  7. I spoke with John (Jaws) via e-mail. He told me that pyramid bought the Puig Blackbird windscreens (I think the remaining ones and the design) in case any of you are looking for one.
  8. Where do you get the Euro switch and what does it look like. I assume it gives you the option of turning off the headlight completely.(?)
