Thanks for putting a link to that thread in, i was looking for that. Someone should pin that thread. Great write up. I bought the 55w 5000k dual bulb, slim ballast kit.

Any suggestions or examples of how you did it?
-
Did it mainly for looks. It seems to help the heat a little. No noticable difference otherwise.
Jet Hot is the one i used. They seem to be the most respected or atleast well known. They were the only ones i spoke with that could coat the inside as well as the outside.

What model UFO is it off?
remind me to unbury it. It's in the garage... it's the same model as for a CBR600 as far as I know.
You have a UFO buried in your garage?

OMG, that thing is gorgeous!

I've been running the PR2/Power combo for a few years now. I think I'm getting somewhere around 6000 out of the rear and two rears to a front. Absolutely love the combo. I wouldnt run anything else (for now). I think you know how I am on tires.

Without the sipes it would look like an old D207

I froze the stem when i replaced mine. I left it in the freezer for two days prior to the install. It seemed to make things a little easier. I dont see how freezing the bearing would help. Freezing the bearing would cause the metal to contract and the diameter of the inside of the bearing to decrease in size thus causing it to be more difficult to install on the stem.
-
Might have been even easier if you put the stem in the freezer instead of the lower bearing.

That was a smokin deal. Wish I could have scooped
this one up.

I wish i hadn't done the Ohlins internals now. I would have gone this route if it weren't for the price. This is less than it cost me to ship them to Dan Kyle and have them done.

Ok for those that dont know I was selected for Chief in the Navy. Part of the induction process we have to make some money. So we are selling some nice mesh motorcycle riding jackets. They are adjustable and have dual density foam padding along with a removable liner. They are 100 dollars shipped! Much cheaper than you can get anywhere else and they are a nice jacket. Please support the NRD San Diego Chief selectee's!

-

First get your ass off the seat (at least half) next wieght the inside peg, steer with the inside of your outside leg by putting pressure on the tank/seat/whatever it comes in contact with, countersteer, clip the apex late, look up the road or track, know your corner speeds, know your braking distances, know your tires master throttle control and dont be a dick
-
Yeah that is Fonda's old bike. I like it too. Handles great. Now if i can just talk him into some pipes for it. That V4 sounds awsome with pipes

He is still wondering who parked it there. I think in the back of his mind he still thinks he did.

Actually the clutchless 7th gear upshift has to be done above 190mph and by hand not foot. Did you do a search for 7th gear upshift before you started this thread, or do you just enjoy waisting all of our time!!
