  1. urloozn: i don't know what cylinder youre asking for, but everything you see on the photo is stock bike + rearset kit. xxxbirdxxx: www.valtermoto.com as you can see there, there are a basic rearset (250 euro) and another better one. I got this second one. (official price 380 euro, but got it for 300 :-)
  2. just came back from the shop. Indeed, there's a slurping noise if you move the front end up and down! I tested on some bumps at differente speeds and first impression is very good: solid but a bit more glued to the road. Under hard braking (stoppie style) there's no way to fully compress these springs!
  3. Hi, just got my hyperpro front and rear progressive springs. (blue color for us squidies hehe) They are a lot harder then the original. I'd like to know if i should do any other jobs now that i'm replacing springs. I already have increased preload front and rear. Carlos said somthing about bigger holes in front valves... Should i look after that (stock valves)? The Hyperpro fork oil is 2.5. I believe now i have a SAE 15.... woah!... What are your thoughts about hard springs and soft oil?
  4. hyperpro combo kit just arrived! (230 euro, oil included) rear and front springs. i'll open a new thread with a question...
  5. impossible! try again
  6. http://www.geocities.com/erixweb/myxxworld.htm I'm very happpy so far, comfortable, good position, delicious finish, i only have to invent somthing to mount the stoplight contact.

    REARSETS?????

i've ordered a pair: 1 inch up 1 inch back http://www.valtermoto.com/prodotti/pedane%...%20tipo%202.htm i'll keep my original set only for 'ironbutt' trips...
  9. thanks again to the new posts. It's over a week that i wrote to hyperpro without getting an answer... (i already got prices from race-tech: 400 Euros for front springs, rear 'preparation', oil and minor pieces)
  10. hehe, is my english that bad? maybe to much forum reading and not enough good books? excuse me for that... Back to the subject, i've just send an em-mail to Hyperpro, they offer a 'kombo kit', that is front and rear progressive springs... If i get a good price, maybe i'll fit them....
  11. Hi all XX fans, I read all the wonderful stories about how marvelous upgrading the suspensions is... BUT, i only feel the need to upgrade during 1% of my riding time... and that is on the track, and ONLY IF there are some sh*t bumps in a turn, and that is only at one point at my usual track (Albacete, Spain) For the rest of my time everything is perfect... Yeah, the roads here in Spain are generally all new and first class... Note: i have already done a hardening job front and rear (precharge), and elevated the rear and lowered the front a bit. My XX has 60.000 km on the counter, maybe someday the NEED to change springs etc. will get obvious, but for now.... I'm I missing something or am i just fairly squareheaded? :-) Thanks in advance for your opinions. Rafagaxx! Note: for the curious, my bike's website www.geocities.com/erixweb/moto
