Well that would solve the problem
-
Here is the whole service manual if you need the parts fiche to just use the search and you will find....
-
I'm sure it wouldn't be worth the effort of retro-fitting so I'll keep searching for a XX cluster...
-
do they ever really give a shit they just want to get paid.
-
I was thinking 1000rr as well but I had never seen what a cluster looks like on an 06 so thought it was worth asking
-
anyone know if this is actually off of a 06 Bird? I need a new gauge cluster maybe it's time for a retro fit
-
plus one for cofirming with a volt meter and it probably being a voltage regulator also check the connections as they can become corrodided pretty easy
-
gee thanks I'm trying not to crash anymore but good to know
-
I'm painting the whole bike anyways so the color doesn't matter. I don't think at this point of collecting up all new plastics that I have one panel that is the same color
-
didn't know that part gives me something to think about maybe I'll keep looking for a factory one.
-
Has anybody had any experience with shark skins panels. Knee draggers.com has them for 169.00 alot better price then I have found anywhere else. Any thoughts or experiences good or bad let me know.

It is the switch not the motor. The switch has internal resistors to regulate power to the motor.
+1, yes, it's called the control head, it went out on my 01 dodge, easy to replace.
+2 on the switch easy to change and you can get it at any Napa
-
Cool man appreciate it
-
How about some more pictures of that bike ramp/stand. Maybe some how-to's?
+1 on that it would seem I'm going to be doing alot of wrenching this winter

I'll have to put my vote in for the Blueflames. You can make them a little bit louder than stock with the plugs and baffles in. With the baffles and plugs out, they sound like the D&D's at low RPM with a low tone and they keep that sound without getting too loud or raspy. You can play with the different combination of baffles or plugs and tune the sound to what you want from quiet to loud.
I'm with Demon. The Blue flames sound awesome. great deep throaty sound with out being overbearing. On the ride home I had harley riders wondering who made my exhaust...

The Pirelli Diablo stradas do great in the rain as well. The weekend I brought the bike home I was riding through a pretty strong rain for the next 6 hours and they kept the bird on track with no issues.

Those rims are freakin sweet man.

Thats another useless thing Honda puts on the bikes, The tool pouch is another. You can take them off and leave them at home in some junk drawer..
Now THAT s being an inconsiderate motorcyclist.
How are you going to help the stranded Hardly-Ableson and Buell riders if you don't have your tool-kit?
I help harley riders by giving them a business card to a honda dealership and allow them to use my cell to call them.

Good idea I'll have to do that one to my Blackbird when I get it.

Gotta love it when the little ones try to help cut fuel costs lol.

Say you had a line on a brand new Leo Vince stainless steel oval exhaust for 580 all in would you go for it over the Blue flame dual outlet ovals? My blue flame came in damaged and had to be returned and I have a 2 month wait for new ones their on back order so would you go for the Leo Vince or wait?
