Need to replace my rear tire next week. The shop I get my tires asked me if I wanted Pilot Roads or pilot road 2's. I asked him what were pilot 2's, he told me they have 2 compounds hard in the middle and softer on the sides. Are any of you birdies running these on your bike?

I'm on my second set of roads and I don't remember seeing those lines on mine.

the only problem I had with the boots was the upper eyelets came apart, I jb welded them and now they fine!

Planning on leaving for sturgis fri. morning checked thread depth on my pilot roads and there is 1/32 of rubber left before the wear bars. I got 6500 mi on the original bridgestones and the odometer is at 12,718. Sturgis is 1000 mi round trip, weather forecast is Hot and dry for the weekend. I think I have enough rubber left to make the trip. Do you think i'm making a mistake? Thanks, Ron

Try the bead cover you can buy one for 8 bucks at walmart and cut it to size. Rode 450 mi. fri and 300+ mi. on sat with no monkey butt!

I put bikemaster foam touring grips on mine that I'm very happy with. But I do have a set of bmw grips sitting in my garage that I'm going to install before the winter over a set of daul-star heaters.

I installed the h9 on the h7 base in my high and lowbeams BIG difference, you won't be dissappointed!

My Bird has extended warrenty and I had a problem with my rear caliper draggin that it blued the rotor. The dealer replaced the rotor,pads and rear master cylinder without a problem.

I use PJ-1 Blue label clear chain lube. If you apply it when the chain is warm and then let it cool it minimizes fling off.

Really like yourmods I was thinking of cutting XX into the rearsets but could not come up with a pattern I liked. Really like your wings came out great!
