Puttlng new CCT in and was wanting to adjust counter-blancers but I can not find thread using the search. I know I saw it here somewere. Please alittle help is all I ask.

+1 I plan on picking up the speed, I am still amazed at how fast this bike can be.

Is this LBS system the same sytem as on the ST1300? My XX doesn't like it is reacting anything like the ST. I know the bikes weigh differently and won't stop the same, but the brakes on the XX seem to require alot more effort to start slowing down.

I am shifting between 5kand 6k as I am still very leary of getting on to much. My bike still has the choppy sound after it warms up and it idles around 1100. The bike has the yoshi slipons that came with it. With 12,800 miles maybe I need to change plugs and air filter? I have been working alot after I got the bike really haven't had much time to do to much maintenance checking yet,but I am very happy so far.

Just wanting to know if motor is supposed to sound like it has a choppy cam sound till about 2800rpms. After that it starts to clear up, kind of reminds me of the big block chevy motor with a large cam in it. Bike runs fine but I have only put about 300 miles on it. I am also wondering if two tanks of gas that got a average of 36.69mpg sounds right? I am still riding fairly easy now while trying to get adjusted to the power and acceleration of the motor.

With looking thur my owners manual and seeing that most maintenance jobs call for the bike to be on the center stand. What do you do if you don't have a center stand to hold the bike level and stable?
