There's a slightly different angle and setback than the stockers.

Risers merely raise the stock bars, which you can do without the risers anyway.

Gotcha. So it's a personal preference thing. Guess next year, when I'll hopefully make it to one of the big group meets, I'll have to check one out.

It's an easy mod, and should only take an hour or so.

Please excuse what is likely a newbie question. What's the advantage to installing these bars, as opposed to installing risers under the stock bars? I just got my XX a couple weeks ago, but it came with risers already installed. What would the difference likely be between this sort of setup and VFR clip-ons?
