As stated, it's a popular choice for larger guys. You need look no farther than your typical XX meet to realize this. I'm 6'3", 220lbs and I'm lucky to be called average in this crowd. As a sporting bike for a big guy you can't do much better.
If you want to sit on one before buying, I'd suggest posting your request in the pub. We've got guys in your area that are much more likely to see it there.
Im also 6`3, 220lbs. Never modified seat or pegs and have had no problems in the ride position. If I were going to modify anything to give more leg room it would be the seat, that way you dont interfere with the ground clearance and can still crank it into the twisties

Hi Dave
Im new to this site and living in Australia. I have been running the Pilot road 2CT, front and rear for a while now and they stick very well in wet & dry conditions. We get Temperatures of 40 + celcius here in summer and Im averaging 10,000km out of a rear tyre with touring & sports riding. Cant recomend them highly enough. I wont use any other tyre on my Bird.
