2010 KTM 990 SMT, sorry for just dumping the link in here but headed out the door. Great bike, had a blast with it over the summer looking for something more two up friendly. http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/4205153342.html

Daughter's bike 2,xxx miles, located in RI. She just got a new bike and would like to sell this one before winter. Thanks for looking http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/4012998169.html

Damn !! It's just so far away at a time that I can't leave my business. planning a Dragon trip in September if the bike were for sale in 5 weeks I would be taking it home with me.

Find a buyer for my 2008 Buell 1125 R and I'll make a run down to buy this !!
-
Sorry I wasn't able to bid on this, have to free up some funds from my Z1000 before I can commit to buy.

That bike handles too good for most of the guys here... And, the third gear wheelies roll-on wheelies might be a bit much for this crowd too. Only the hardcore XX'ers and Dave could really appreciate it...
It is silly fun riding that thing up the Newport and Jamestown bridges and having the tire just.....hover over the pavement for a half mile
-
Sorry, I know this is getting old but....... bump again for a Z1000 for sale. It's back on flea-bay with a day and a half left.

Buy the bike and I'll put you up in Jamestown for 2 nights. but I'm not cooking for you :icon_snooty:

C'mon Hank.....ya know ya want it

Not since I've owned it Wario may have one, I don't think one got passed on to me.

Thanks Mike, being in charge is a whole 'nother world, not being allowed to drive apparatus anymore is NOT fun!! Scary on the passenger side actually. maybe your input will get someone interested. If you're coming through New England be sure to give me a little notice so I can get some time off to do some of your northeast loop.

Shameless bump

I'm always in for drinks and food !! Be sure to give me a few days notice so I can try to get time off if I'm scheduled to be on duty. My best to all. Have a Happy and prosperous New Year

If I remember correctly, Aquidneck Lobster Co. was on Barristers Wharf, just past the Black Pearl and the Clark Cook House.
Bartender with the nickname of 5 O worked at CCH for many years...a great guy.
The upstairs was called the Candy Store and the Moorings was right behind the Pearl and the CH.
Man, I miss that place...Thursday nites, huh...
Where do you live, town wise?
I have friends scattered all over the island, up to and including Common Fence Point.
You're correct regarding the lobster company location and all those places are still there. Aquidneck now has a bar/restaurant IN the place !! My cousin runs the lobster company itself. I'm not a local Newporter, originally from Cranston (the home of the most recent Miss Universe ) about 20 miles north. I live 25 miles west in rural Exeter now.

You're both full of it , never heard of any board members coming here, except for Wario who I got the bike from, he delivered right to me ! The station in the pic is at 100 Old Fort Rd. Just got promoted to Lieutenant a couple of months ago so I'm back at HQ on America's Cup Ave. Let me know whenever anyone is in town . I'll gladly provide parking for ya!
Listen sonny ( ), the first time I went to Newport, I missed the 11:00 PM ferry and had to drive up to Providence and back down to Newport. I was in an inflatable when they hoisted the Australian boat up for everyone to see the keel after winning the America's cup and I was staying at Dock 1, Slip 1 on a sailboat at the Treadway. We had the managers card and phone number from the Chart House next door in case we got thirsty after hours. Unfortunately, I can't remember much else of the 40+ years I've been going there......except (John Cafferty and) the Beaver Brown Band playing on First Beach. It's starting to come back to me now...lol
Love that town but I haven't been up there lately...might have to change that and take you up on your offer...
Congrats on the promotion, btw.
"No"...there I said it for ya...cause you were reading my mind...Where's that firehouse located?
Yeah, I know ...Newport, but where?
Love that town....many happy, blurry memories...
Hank
Ditto. I'm there like every week in the summer.
First the Keys and now Newport...
What am I, like your advance scout or something?
Merry Christmas Jen...Hope all is well.
Hank, This place IS too much fun. My Dad had a 46' Ocean right behind the Treadway when those cup races were going on !! We would stay there and get lobsters steamed from Aquidneck Lobster Co delivered right to the 6 boats we had backed up to the main pier. I still come to town every Thursday night on a friends 36' ChrisCraft Corsair end up with the same foggy memory problem .... Merry Christmas to you both

I had a great time with the bike all summer but I now have a line on a really nice Multistrada. asking $9500 on craigslist $8500 or best to a board member. http://providence.craigslist.org/mcy/4205153342.html
