  1. only problem now is I am going to need to paint the bike to match...

Why go with a slower color... Paint it silver to match the rest of the bike.

He makes it up with the ported head.

  2. Chris, where was the third adjustment point? One of my DRZ400's clutch won't fully disengage. I suspect I need a new clutch cable.

There was a plastic plug on the metal cover where the clutch cable goes and it is an adjustment of the push rod that you can adjust in and out

  3. Well I was checking out the bike and with it on the stand and the clutch all the way in I can't get the wheel to stop spinning, the bike dosn't die if I hit the rear brake, so is that ok. I checked some of the GSXR forums and they said that the clutch plates could be sticking, and may need to warmthem up to unstick them. I much prefer a hydraulic cluth, no adjusting needed.

  4. Well I decided to go down a differnet route, bought some emgo twin fillament bulb holders that came in 4 pack for 8.99 that had fairly long leads. I cut off the plug ends on both the bike and new bulb holders and just had to file out the Tail lamp assembly to the bulb holders would twist into place. The factory plugs are a bitch to remove and like I said I have had several wires eventually break as they go into the connector.

  5. I have a wire that has broken from metal end that slides into the white connector that plugs into the light socket for the rear tail light/brake light bulb holder. It's a pain in the ass to pull the individual pin and reconnect the broken wire. Anybody have a source for new white connectors that may have short wire leads to splice into?

  6. I typically just use standard switches from Lowes, and they sell rubbers switch covers that seal up the toggle part.

For my Audiovox, I knew it wasn't really "supposed" to be used outside, as it's made for a car, so I pulled the switch apart and put a healthy dose of silicone on the parts of the switch that you can't see, all the way around the buttons, that way the water can only come in from the bottom, if at all.

    How MacGyver of you!

  7. +1 on the Datel. Mounted mine on top of the instrument cluster next to the radar detector:

You do realize that you can use that detector as a voltmeter?

Had the Datel first - but also like the bigger readout.

So where did you mount the coffee maker?

    ;)

Dammit, he never even offered me a cup!

  8. I have them in stock for $36.00 delivered in the States or $44.00 International

OK, now is this the problem and any directions?

Also can I ride it for awhile with this being the issue?

If you only hear the noise in a limited range you are probably still good for awhile. Get the part ordered and it take 10 minutes to swap the part, just two bolts for the CCT and a few more to pull the right lower plastic.

  9. I used the bolt patern of the sporcket as a secondary reference, which is that if you drew a lign between the mounting bolts they would be close to perpendicular to the head,

You could pull the intake cam back off and mark the inside of the cma like tim did wihtt he marker.
