How about aircraft paint stripper makes paint bubble up good but to be honest never used it in your application. I bet it would work though would make scraping a breeze if it works.
-
It is in NEW condition with almost no (has a few tiny tiny scuffs on the silver surround)scratches or scuffs and comes with:
5 or 6 different types of cases....all the slim type (one of them cost me $40 bucks - Sena leather)
Car charger - if I can find it
1 Wall charger
1 iHome portable speaker
AND prolly 10 other things as I can't remember what I have.
ONE HITCH....I will not ship it until I get my new iPhone4 on or about July 14th-ish.
It has been in a case since birth and has always has a non-reflective cover over the face on it. If the iPhone4 has a different face...mine will come with 8 non-reflective shields...if it's identical...I will keep them.
Price - $179.00 (INLCUDING SHIPPING)
(Lowest Price I could find on eBay was $299)
Also comes withone of these...BUT I NEVER USED IT and don't have the box.
I am sure there is more shit I have for it...and will post it when I bump into them in my house.
This thing sell ?

I did my instrument bulbs in LED awhile ago and quite honestly can't remember the exact bulb I used. I did get some spares and will look around for them. I know that I got them from here, super bright led.com. And I'm pretty sure those were the ones I ordered.
If you measure your stock bulbs (they pull out of the holders) you can compare them to the measurements given on this website and then call the company to discuss. That's more or less what I did. I had to return a few and swap a few before I got the right ones... good company to deal with, in my experience. Oh, and you should have two different sized bulbs... one size is the back lighting for the dash, the others are the actual indicators.
The other thing I learnt is to go with the actual color you need for the indicator and not just get white. White softens the color, meaning it turns a red color (Check Eng light, ex.) to pink... so get green for neutral, red for check engine, blue for high beams, etc...
Sorry I can't be more specific than that right now... if I find the spare bulbs I have (they're pretty little), I'll post up. They work great and are much brighter than stock, so it's worth the effort and cost involved to do so.
The T10's are a direct swap as stated above, just pull the black caps off (~1/4 turn) and pull the stockers out and replace with the T10's making sure of the polarity as described
As above I used blue on the middle globes (makes the speedo/tacho/clock blue) and white on the outer ones as the blue turned the red zone of the tacho and the fuel gauge almost black
Good advice thanks everybody.

Looking at the '98 fiche on service honda, it looks like yours just uses the push in lamps:
My VFR800 uses the same so I picked up a few of these, they work great.
Just what I needed thanks much

If I have to go with stockers to get a direct replacement then I will I don't want to have to fiddle with making them fit and work right. I replaced with brighter bulbs on my zx11 and it was easy but the bird bulbs appear to fit differently. Do they pop out of the screw thing that holds them or is it one piece. I know I probably sound retarded but I am handyman challenged.

Buying the LEDs loose would have been cheaper but I picked up a white set from these guys (I think)
It was a little little finiky to install, but not bad, looks 1000x better in white than that dull yellow.
....wish the busa was that easy
It's a 98

I wish to upgrade the bulbs in the gauge cluster to something brighter. Anyone do this if so where did you get your bulbs ?

Hey plazma you know your bike is for sale.
STILL FOR SALE ... The bike has only 846 original miles on it, adult ridden, has been regularly maintained, is in excellent condition, nothing wrong, never raced or in an accident, always kept in garage ... is like NEW. I'm the first owner, the bike has clear and clean title, and all the papers that you will need come along with the bike. The price is $2.400 shipping included to your address ... I'm forced to sell the bike as soon as possible for serious financial reasons. The bike is located in Eureka, CA. If you will decide to have a deal, we can use a shipping company to protect your money and my bike, it's up to you if you want ... Also, a refund policy will be included. Currently for a few days I'm in England with my work, but don't worry because my wife can handle the shipping process. Please let me know if you need more info about the bike, and also i will explain you better how this deal will be closed very safe for both sides ... Here you can see more photos of the bike: http://img717.imageshack.us/slideshow/webp...id=51603885.jpg
Waiting your reply,
2400.00 good deal.
Daniel.

What he said ^^^^

Check out the bar risers and handlebar. Interesting. Anyone recognize this bike or the equipment used for the modification?
Looks like an early model LSL bar kit.
I second that opinnion

Very nice ride but I think you may have trouble getting 6k for a 99 even with low miles. 2003's can be had in the 6k range. Good luck with your sale.

I use Progrip gel 719's and gloves with gel in the palm seems to work well for me.
Did you mean the "791's" 791 as I don't see any "719's" on the site, also what type of gloves were they, do you have a link as I am looking at getting something like that because of problems with carpal tunnel and hands going numb
THAT SITE MUST NOT CARRY THEM TRY A GOOGLE SEARCH FOR PROGRIP 719 AND THE GLOVES ARE OLYMPIA
