ditto what Joe said. I already went -1 up front. I am considering going up on the rear sprocket. What is the "norm" when going up in teeth on the rear sprocket? What can I expect in the difference in speedo, rpm and top speed? I am not to terribly concerned about going 170mph. I have more fun in spirited runs up to about 140-150mph. Not to mention the added torque would be fun. Rich

I have the same exhaust and problem. I want to do a jet kit anyways. Would that also solve the problem? What performance benefits would I see from jetting? Pro's and con's?? Rich

Yep, sure do. Mostly when I downshift and the rpm's are fairly high. Replaced the CCT with the X-11 on Friday. Nice and quiet now. Doesn't sound like a bunch of marbles tumbling around at idle. Rich

So I had my dealer change the oil on my XX a couple of months ago while I was there checking out the new bikes. It was convenient at the time since I was there and I was overdue. I have only put about 800 miles on it since. Anyways, I have since noticed a small drip of oil on the garage floor. I am taking it back tomorrow to get it checked out. Anything I should be prepared for? I am hoping that either the filter or drain might not have been sealed completely. Are there any issues with seals leaking or problem areas? I have a 1997 with about 13k on the clock. Rich

I understand that the stock 5.5" rim will force a 190 to fit. I understand that a 190 on a 5.5" rim will negatively affect the handling of the XX. I wanted to know if there was a Honda rim that uses a 190 tire and if it will work on the XX. Would there be any noticeable difference with a 190 on the proper size rim allowing the tire to retain its designed profile? Would the handling remain mostly the same? I also think the 180 on the XX looks so tiny from behind compared to a 190 that is on other liter bikes. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys (and girls). Rich

the decrease in gas mileage was minimal for me. As long as I keep it under 100mph for long distance road trips, i see mid-high 40 mpg. in town i still get well into the 30's. But honestly, if i wanted good gas mileage, i would have bought a 600. I certainly don't care if my bike will only do 169 mph now. so what. I do like the fact that it does 0-100mph much quicker than before and the added torque is quite lovely. Next is going up on the rear sprocket. Rich

Change it anyways. It's a great bang for the buck change. I needed to have one link removed from my chain also when I did mine. Rich

What about a glass block shower, some stainless steel, halogen and recessed lighting, natural stone like tile and put the wood that you like in the trim work / accessories. Rich
