I am married with two boys a cat and a dog (shedding golden retriever). Once you get it cleaned it is all about maintnance. A little here, a little there. Make a schedule and post it. If your kids are old enough, give them an assignment also. For instance. Monday- you clean kitchen she does laundry. Tuesday- you vacum she dusts. Wednesday- you laundry she cleans bathroom. etc....................

I was thinking a copper colored bike would be cool. Maybe even do a snake pattern and call it your copperhead. Get the seat re-upholstered in a tan color or a snakeskin pattern.

I like my 3/8" Craftsman. It has two windows in the handle. One for n/m and one for ft/lb. Twist the knob at the end of the handle to make your setting. I think it was around $50-$60. I didn't realize how little pressure some bolts need to seat properly!

150mph blast blew out the gasket Just kiddin. Although if it had sat for two years the gaskets most likely did dry out. If they are fiber they may "heal". If they are rubber, they may need replacing. All based on general theory. No experience specific to the 'bird.

Might I recomend that if Avons are giving you trouble, switch to Mary Kay.?

Not sure if this is a Garage or Pub question. A local dealer has a '99 Bird for sale. Says it is the rare blue color. Did the Bird come in Blue for 99? Or, is this just a custom paint color? Brian
