All parts are from my '99 that has since long been sold. All fair offers considered including shipping. Not looking to get rich, just part with stuff I no longer need.
Two windscreens that have some minor scuffs. No cracks. Solid thick plastic. The darker one is slightly shorter than the clear one with a little more outward bow. Basically stock profile.
Stock clip ons. I took these off to replace with Helis, which were sold with the bike.
Mounting plates for mirror brackets.
Stock fork springs. Around 30k miles on them as a guess.
K&N air filter. Dirty needs cleaning. I ran out of cleaner and oil. No need to buy more.

I just came here to see if I was the only one. Nope, I guess not. MotoZ2 play and Firefox on Windows laptop. Random occurrences.
Just an FYI.

Thanks guys.
He is having a 302 built for it. Should go pretty well. Guessing 350ish hp.

I know this is a long shot. My friend has a '73 Maverick. He needs a grill for it. It currently has a '72 grill, but he wants the correct one. There are broken grills out there, but he is looking for one in good condition or NOS.
Let me know if you have one or know of a source.

Ivy of some type?

I don't know if you have worked with stainless or not, but it is a pain in the ass to cut. Do you want hemmed edges? If so get accurate measurements and have a local sheet metal shop bend it up for you.

Tin snips are fine for straight, thin metal, but for thicker metal, or already shaped metal, I use an electric angle grinder with cutoff wheels. Air cutoff tools take a TON of air, and spin so fast that when the wheels break (and they will) they become projectiles. The electric grinder doesn't spin as fast and the cutoff wheels are thicker.
Yep, this. From an ex- tinknocker. Use a a cutoff wheel for the round tube and snips for the flat work.

I have a black nose cowling that has a crack on the left side about 7 inches long and a tail cowl that has the right mount hole in the front broken on the bottom edge. Shipping should be around 60-70. Shoot me a price you feel fair if interested. I had another member stop contacting me that wanted them earlier.

Sounds good Loki, they're yours.

Stock clip ons from '99 Bird.
No idea what they are worth. Shoot me an offer.

Used K and N air filter off my old '99 bird.
Good shape, I don't remember how many miles it has on it. Not many though.
$30 o.b.o. + postage.

How much for the left lower cowl? I live at 92356.
ups won't calculate a shipping cost without a destination address. You can PM me the address if you want. Price above shipping, honestly, whatever it is worth to you. It is just sitting in my shed now.
....mirrors/mirror covers?
I have a left mirror cover/housing. A few scratches. And a rubber boot.

Do you happen to still have the upper cowl
Yes I do.

Good job. I know finding intermittent electrical problems can make you pull your hair out. Oh, wait, is that what happened?

Yep, I agree with the others. If I had the funds, I would have it also.
I used to shoot a Remington VS in .22-250. It loved the Speer TNT bullets in my handloads. There were two guys I shot with that had the Ruer #1s. They were tack drivers. I believe one was a .223 and the other was a .222.

Just an FYI, you can use a condensate pump to run quite a distance. If you can get to a drain or a sink.
If this is a lease, try to get the landlord to fix it. I know in most leases the tenant is responsible, but it is worth a shot.

I need to clean out my shed.
I have a nose cone that has a small crack about five inches long on the left side. A few scuffs from being in the shed.
I have a left side fairing panel. No cracks, just some scuffs and road rash on the bottom from railing.
I have a tail cowling that has the right front bolt hole is broken on the bottom edge. Still enough there for the bolt to hold onto.
Need these gone. I'm willing to let them go for the cost of shipping from 48197 and a donation to the human fund. I figured I would put them up here before going the Craigslist route.

Yes, that is a viable option. But, your cold water line is now warm. So, if you want cold water to drink or brush your teeth with, you have warm water. If you are cool with that, it will work.

I'm looking at removing the large water heater and replacing it with three half-size water heaters -- one for the kitchen/laundry and one for each shower. Right now, the hot water lines have to run all the way across the house through the slab to get to the two showers, and it means you have to run it for quite awhile to get up to temperature. I have enough room to co-locate the half-size water heaters with the showers, and each half-size is worth two reasonable (or one teenage length) showers.
Have you considered a circulating pump on a timer to keep hot water at the point of use when commonly needed?
I can't figure out how to do that without taking a jackhammer to the slab and running new lines.
Ah, I see.

Jon, what are you doing? What's a stud?
Oh, that is too easy. You left yourself WIDE open for that one.

I have a '99 that has the bottom of the right front mount hole broken away. I can send pics if you are interested. Not sure how bad yours is.
