I have noticed over the last couple of months that it seems like my clutch lever is moving further and further out before the poinout.t of engagement. Is there a simple adjustment, or do I need to be thinking about replacing it? If it needs to be replaced how difficult of a repair is it? How do you know when your CCT is going bad? Are there any other signs other than a funny noise? Does a clutch start making any noise when it's on its way out?

There is a cluster gage for a 2002 on egay... what has to be done to put the newer gages on a 98 bird?

How old is the independant station you go to? I try to stay away from stations that look like they have been there for a long time. Chances are that some of the older stations tanks are more prone to leak and or draw in water. Go to a station that is fairly new or has recently put new tanks in the ground... ...just my 2 cents... :icon_think:

Take it to Nexxt and have someone piss on it... problem solved... No seriously. What kind of polish are you using now? McGuires makes a damn fine metal polish. I can't think of the exact name off hand, and I am at work so I can't go out to the garage and look. If I remember I will check when I get home and post it for you.

I was going to have a shop install the kit. My bird has a bad hesitation in the midrange that gets annoying when you are in 5th on the freeway and have to slow down and then try to accelerate back up to 5 over. I have a stock set up with a K&N filter which came with the bike. I was thinking of putting the OEM filter back in it and see if that helps eliminate some of the lag. I really want to go with the Hindle high mounts, but cash may be a factor.

I have a 98' carbed bird, I was debating on weather or not to change the exhaust and re-jet. Are there any recomendations for jetting? Which kit is the best? Are there any recomendations for what stage or size jets?
