  1. Going to look at it sat morning, I need another bird like a hole in the head. Was planning to buy a KLR 650 this summer BUT what if i change the handlebars to street fighters style and put on off road tires on this bird do u think it would make a good dualsport ?

so did you go see it? i am thinking hard about making this my first bird. but its about 7 hours too far to just go take a quick look, its either go and pick it up, or don't bother going at all.

  2. we did mohawk laminate in our basement about a year ago, floating laminate over concrete. it was the cheapest stuff we found, about $1.09 a sf i think, it looks nice, but if you install it yourself, i suggest being very anal about the subfloor being absolutely level. in the places that i got the concrete leveled, it looks great, and its hard to pick out the seams. in high spots, where a plank can try to move up and down a bit, the seams start to show. its way better than carpet for cat hair. we have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and they bring in a lot of dirt, the laminate seems to almost repel dirt. sweeping gets it really clean easily. we've had water on it, not for too terribly long, but it hasn't been affected so far. just be careful with the subfloor, and its great stuff.

  3. i got some floor adhesive remover in a gallon jug at ace hardware, the stuff was a little spendy, i think like 20 bucks a gallon, but it worked slick, just goop it on and let it cook for about 20 mins, then everything wipes right off. i couldn't just scrape though, because i was trying to get to the hardwood underneath. wasn't too cheap, but it sure was easier.

  4. Well yes......... They actually make a super heavy duty razor bladed floor scraper. It has a 6" blade and shaves the stuff off like butter.

Where to buy one.......? I don't know, I borrowed the one I used from a buddy in the biz.

got an ice chipper and a grinder? :icon_evilgrin:
