If the bulbs just went in under a week ago, me thinks that would be the best place to start... check everything you touched and could have screwed up.

Nope.. the sides don't come down as far as the GIVI touring screen. I'll have to get some pics to you... as soon as I get some!

I have the MRA VarioTouring Screen on my '97... no pics yet. I put it on the week before NEXXT for the trip. I love it... it can look kinda gay, mucho touring, very little sportbike like. That being said, I love it. I can sit straight upright in my seat up to 100 MPH... leaning back completely with my left hand on my thigh, very relaxed. I'm 6'2". With the spoiler in the next to highest position, there's next to no buffeting of my head, and my helmet doesn't get pushed back at all by the breeze until about 120 MPH. The only time there is buffeting is when riding two up and we go over 90. As for the bars, dunno yet. If it would stop raining I'd be able to get the VFR bars I got on eBay onto the bike and could tell ya. BTW, when I got it from Twisted Throttle, then didn't ask me about bars, and I didn't specify anything other than the model and year of my bird. Ben

My box was different... it was a "Bohmen" conversion kit.

I don't think mine's available anymore... too bad. I have the shotgun (double barrel) from Two Brothers... nice sound... makes all the XX'ers take notice, as well as deer and everyone I pass... nice deep sound, plus because it's all on one side it doesn't have the power-robbing split in the header between the dual side exhaust...

I've made the decision to go to hard luggage. My wife loves to ride 2 up, and I've noticed from alot of the pics the luggage seems to sit high, the tops of the case well over the seat top. Is this a problem with the passenger having enough room to be comfortable? She's tiny (thank God). Any cases/racks to stay away from in terms of rear passenger comfort? Thanks! Ben

When I bought my 97 the PO had a single-sided Two Brothers dual can setup on it. He had pulled about half the glass out of each one. When I looked at it initially, I was convinced I was going to switch it out for a stock system. ....then I started it up. When at idle it's got a decent grumble to it, not high pitched, and definately a far cry from a Harley. At speed it's louder, but never annoyingly so. People can hear me coming, and turn to watch (which is nice, at least when they aren't holding a radar gun.) But it's not so loud that anyone thinks it's obnoxious, other than the guy riding directly behind me. My friend says it gets to be a bit much when your in my wake for more than half an hour.
