The corbin seat was sold to a member on here, the givi box is on my Concours.
The seat is now back to standard as well as the windshield.
PM if your interested.
Phil.

I also have the actual Honda manual which costs $60 plus, I'll take $20 for it, (all clean pages due to little use)

In Black, in great condition, very (and I mean very slight tear) on left front side which will repair easily, has the hole at the back for the rear back rest (of which I never had)
PICS if needed.
1st $200 offer owns it, shipping is maybe $25, but if it's cheaper that's better for you.
Phil.
I'll take it if the pics look good. Please post 'em!
WOW! 4 PM's within 10 mins, I'll post the pics of it in about 20 mins......

REDWING, PM'd you twice about the corbin seat I have for sale, PM back, I have a list of people wanting it.
Phil.

Thanks for the interest still for sale!
STRANGE! when I wanted a blackbird, I scanned everywhere and then found this site, I found one, but it was in Colarodo (Im in Louisiana) chatted with the owner and then paid for it, organized a shipping company that failed to pick it up, so I bit the bullet and drove 20 hrs.
When I wanted a Suzuki GS1000, chatted with the owner and drove to Indiana and bought it.
When I wanted a Yamaha RZ 350, chatted with the owner and drove to Florida and bought it.
TOO many people in this world that want to chat about the bike (to be purchased) but dont follow through.
Selling my blackbird, PM after PM after PM with interest, but again, no follow through, which includes ebay.
Wait your time, someone will come along with a like mind of mine and go ahead and buy it.
TOO MANY timewasters these days.
Phil.
(I bet if you offered it out at $2000, they would be screaming for your address to pick it up for a deal....)
-
I left the throttlemeisters on the bike as well as the alarm, Corbin is yours then, not thought of a price yet though, wont be through the roof though.
-
Phil, did you get your new Connie?
The dealer offered me $5000, but advised that he puts it for sale in the shop on consignment, he'll ask for the book price ($6100) and then he'll take 7%, which is fare enough.
He has the concours in and offered me at $12000, but I'll wait till mine actually sells, so it could be 2 days or 2 months, just waiting for the right buyer.
It looks so bare! I put the standard seat back on and the standard clear windshield and took off the GIVI box.
Will sell the corbin seat, honda manual and dark higher windshield most likely on here soon.
Phil.

TRADED IT IN.
-
I'll be geting my concours in about 3-4 weeks, my blackbird only went upto $4230 on ebay, but the dealer gave me $5300 as a trade in, concour has been ordered.
-
OMG! There are some real pricks on ebay asking allsorts of questions on this blackbird, I wish someone would buy it on here as you guys are normal......................................
-
I drove from Louisiana to Colorado about 3 years ago for it.
There is nothing wrong with it, just thinking about a new Kawasaki 1400 concourse.
Here's what it's got.
Throttlemeister bar ends (which lock on the throttle side for cruise control)
Helibars
Givi top box and rack (V46) in silver
Scottoiler (auto chain oiler)
Color matched powdercoated rims and swing arm and suspension brackets
Scorpio perimeter alarm (dealer fitted) with remote alarm fob
K&N air filter
Frame sliders
Corbin seat with the hole at the back for the rear rest
Also have the standard seat and standard windshield
Black higher windshield
CCT replacement
NEVER EVER DROPPED, rides like when I got it.
I got it with 17,000 on it, and took it straight to the dealers for it's service.
Here's the oil change history from then.....................
Mileage 19,164, 20,552, 22,100, 24,041, 26,000, 27,600, 29,250, 30,641, 32,420 HONDA OIL.
It's showing 32,986 at present, I changed the plugs at 29,250
And it's not financed.
The only bad points is it has a few stone chips on the front fairing and on lower fairing, but I bought it like that.
$5700 on here, or I'll ebay it for $6000, but as you know it's hit/miss with ebay.
(current mileage is 33332) no more mileage will be added.
Phil.

You were extremely lucky, a friend of mine in New Orleans had the same problem but it took out the engine casing.
-
Thanks for the replies.
I have changed the CCT 4 times now, they last on average 6-8K then the rattling begins again, the shims have never been changed/or replaced, I am old school, working on Suzuki GS's most of my life where it's easy to do shims (above bucket) but with the XX being under bucket it's something new to me, with it tore down I was just thinking of doing the camchain while I am in there as it's only $40 from Honda (I get good discounts)
And I will use a SNAP ON feelergauge
-
Has anyone replaced their own camchain? my shims are starting to tap a little now (32K) and was wondering if it's easy or not to do?
I know the shims are under bucket and the cams have to come out.
Phil.
-
I bought my XX with 17K on (2002 model) I'm at 31K now and changed out the CCT 4 times because they rattle, What's the deal with them??
And why is not Honda realizing that this is a problem!
-
I just got back from Deals Gap, I scraped the shit out of the bottom of my fairing and the tires never gave out once!
-
I have the same tires on my 02 XX, they grip awesome! but this is my 3rd set (in 5K) every set has cupped, I'll be changing to my 4th set before I go to Deals Gap, after that, I'm changing to Metzlers.
-
At 150mph, mine is showing on radar 146,
-
29k. Bought it with 17K on it, burns no oil between changes, BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I change mine at approx 1300-1500 miles.

I have been using Scottoilers for about 20 years or so now, if YOU DONT BLEED it right the 1st time, it will always act up and be a problem, never an issue with the last 5 scottoilers I have owned!
my 3 cents..........
