  1. One other thing I wanted to confirm.... How many other riders are you able to talk to on this one? I know the new XBi allows 3 people to talk, but curious what this one says, as I'm assuming it's an older X1 since it doesn't have the bluetooth capability

And maybe a dumb question, but the x1 & x2 can talk to each other, correct? Thanx again

  2. PM sent

Kinda surprised this uses NiMH. Isn't lithium ion the norm anymore on anything tech? Anybody know what kinda talk time/sleep time you get out of these, real world.... Not what the ad info claims

I'm a virgin to these & bustin' my cherry

So this is the whole unit.... Everything I need right outta the box, plug 'n play? Nothing extra to buy? This doesn't look like the bluetooth version from your pic, is that correct? How old is it then?

    Thanx

  3. Nice.

'86 5.0 with t tops & 5 speed is my dream car from high school

We just got my son a clean '94 v6 last week for $2,700 as his first car. Damn kid gets a Mustang right outta the gate, & I'm still waitin' 30 some years :icon_rolleyes:

  4. This was my bike before Brent bought it from me. It went many times over 200 mph and many miles under heavy boost....most likely detonation happened when the fuel pump lost voltage for a second or 2 due to loose wireing...it is carbed not FI.

Late to the party I know, but since somebody already resurrected it.....

Isn't this the same XX that was in the International Motorcycle Show a couple years ago?

if you are referring to the one at the javitz in 07 then yes

Thought I recognized the pic back on page 1

  6. Yes, I'm adjustable. Pete never let me see the other side of the bike (Another of the reasons I left), so I can't help much with the brake lever.

As I remember, the brake lever was a bit of an asshole, it didn't talk much. You'd think it would.. we have so much in common.

I was hoping you might reply in here Pete's Shifter, as I figure you're the expert on what you're capabilities are! Sorry to hear that brake lever was such a dick to you! You're right.....You both have Pete's stinky feet in common!! :icon_twisted:

  7. I put those Buell pegs on before NeXXt, when I thought I was gonna be riding over by myself. After riding around town a little, & down to Jim Beam last weekend for almost a 700 mile day......I think they're more comfortable, but I have to "reach" farther to the levers.....Awkwardly so. I don't feel comfortable at all in the twisties. Have to think about it too much, rather than concentrating on the road

In fact......I had my feet so far forward on the pegs last weekend to make sure I could reach, that I scraped the bottom of my boot in a hard left/right....the sole, not the side......on pavement. Scared the shit out of me at first!

So are the levers adjustable, and if I monkey with them, will I screw anything up? I know I accidentally put my shifter on upside down on my old Yami after replacing the stator......And had GP shift for a bit 'til I figured out my mistake :icon_rolleyes:

  8. Thanx Tim...Don't have a manual. Givin' her a fresh change before we head to Towanda tomorrow. Gettin' the freakin' filter off's a PIA without stands to put her on!! :icon_evil:

Now hopefully this damn rain passes over/holds off so I don't have to cage it like a loser & spend twice as much in gas $$ :icon_rolleyes:
