  1. Joe is right. Craigslist might be nice but its also very frustrating. I listed my Grand National and in the end it was getting flagged within five minutes of being relisted because i had a lot of people who were made i wouldnt trade them or they were just to stupid to deal with. Ended up selling it off of Facebook. Either way i wish i could sell the zx10, i know you have a clean bird and i miss mine

  2. With have 65k miles on her she has seen some wear but besides some clear coat damage the fender was solid. The problem I think was because of the tires I am now running. They have a taller profile then your average street tire. It wasnt a problem on the gixxer 1k because of its little fender but I dont think the XX liked it very much.

Loki let me know as soon as you can. I get paid on Monday and can paypal you some cash and send you my new address at that point. Thank you

  3. The cheaper the better seeing as i just started working again....

Not sure how it happened but i was going down the freeway and hit a bump that must of been bad enough to force the tire into the fender breaking the mounting tabs sending it over the upper fairing and exiting stage right. Didnt really think it was worth going back for so I kept going. I HATE looking at her all messed up so Im asking here before I source out to Ebay

  4. :icon_sad: I hate to do this but she needs a new home.

I picked it up late last fall, had it out a few times and put on a few hundred miles before storing it. Put on about 3000 street miles since bringing it out this year. Had it at RacerXX so it has two days at the track on it. It runs and rides great.

Its a 04 with just under 22k miles now. It has aftermarket mirrors with signals, flush mount front signals, integrated smoke rear light, Yosh carbon fiber exhaust, Scotts steering stabilizer, 520 chain conversion, comes with rear seat and cowl, frame sliders. Clean and clear title. Upper fairing was repaired, It looks like it was tipped over on its right side and has some minor scratches. And it looks to have a slow slide on the left but the only damage was to the upper cowl. It has very minor scratches that you actually have to look for to see. Bike looks great from a few feet away. I was informed that its a Canadian model, which is the only way that explains the slight difference in color scheme.

  5. Pictures uploaded, PM's replied.

I would really like for somebody local to get buy the Givi setup as it will be a complete PITA to ship. PM for a picked up price.

Take your time packing it up for me, I'm not in any hurry to install it. Does anyone live close to you that will be going to RedNeXXt or WiXXT?

I'm going to the Chicago IMS on Sunday the 10th if you heading to it I could grab them and bring them to racerxx

  6. Good deal indeed. Except the extra costs that crashed toys adds to the purchase that they dont tell you about. Plus the cost of getting the title fixed thru the DMV.

Seems like you know someting about this.

How much does crashed toys add?

Since its a recovered theft I'm thinking that it wouldn't have a salvage title. So what is involved in getting the title fixed through the DMV.

My brother bought a recovered auto theft once and he just had to get it retitiled. Normal retitling cost. He purchased it directly from an auction. They included paperwork with the sale. It included something from the insurance company indicating that it was a recovered theft item. That was years ago though.

    VIN:

    JH2SC35071M400147

    Odometer: 28,866 MILES - ACTUAL

    Title: IN - SALVAGE CERTIFICATE

Look at the title status. All states have different laws. Here in Wisconsin you need to take before and after pics as well take the bike to a police station and pay $350 to have it state inspected which will get you a rebuilt/salvage title which will also hurt the value even if it was only a theft. Crashed toys requires you to pay a fee to register plus there is a fee for the auction plus you will have the cost of shipping. And I also remember a cost for some broker to handle the transaction but that may have changed. Most of these auctions are insurance auctions with other dealers bidding against you.

Things may have changed however since ive looked into buying a bike for the track so look into this before you just give up on it if its something you really want

  7. I know...why buy the older technology? Because I'm coming from an old motorola flip phone and I'm cheap.

I bought Dave's and would like another one for my wife. It needs to be clean and not beat up.

It needs to be an AT&T phone.

I'll show my ignorance and say I don't want a jailbroken/unlocked/whatever phone. I don't trust them if they've been hacked on. I'm just looking for a good 3gs from someone I know. I trust you guys/gals and don't want to buy one from some hack kid on craigslist.

    Thanks!

Friend of mine just posted he's selling his iphone4

  8. ...has he given you a parts list of things that need replacement at all?

'He' is me, and other than the bodywork being underwhelming and routine maintenance stuff, it should be fine. I've had it in pieces for awhile after robbing parts off it for my TurboBird, but I'm putting it back together now. I'm glad Caleb's not in a hurry, because I'm lazy. Ha.

I'm so damn excited about it you could give it to me the way it sits and I'd put it together. Now I just have to go back to my corner and earn the cash the hard way

  9. ...Gibbs, any luck with this yet?

Actually yes. One of the guys has offered me a nice 2002 for a price I can't refuse. And since he didn't plan on selling till spring and doesn't need the cash has aloud me all winter to come up with the money. So instead of buying a piece here and there I can save and get a running bike. It needs some love but it'll be a great start and with the mileage that's on it should last me for many years to come. I couldn't be happier and can't wait to bring her home

  10. I have a few of the damaged body panels from when my '99 was stolen. If you can plastic weld they are useable.

I have the nose cone with about an 8 inch crack on the left side. Tail cowl with a broken tab on the front right mount.

A lower side, I believe left. A mirror housing, two windscreens, maybe the stock clip ons. Front and rear wheels that had bearings spin in the hubs. So they would have to be repaired some how.

What are you looking to get for it. I can repair some stuff
